It’s not often that he comes to her like this. Usually their escape from the world, the traumas they shared, was something more... carnal. Yet something felt off about him. Nothing that she was entirely use to. Still, it wasn’t as if she’d deny him the comfort he sought.

Amaterasu stretched her arms out. Given their height difference, she can only wrap around his torso. She held him tight. Her head rested on his chest, and there was a calm to herself. This little gesture held its own affect over both lieutenants. A small sigh released as silence hung between them, allowing him whatever serenity he sought after.

If she hadn’t heard the footsteps behind her, the tiny lieutenant would have jumped. Instead Ama managed to just spin at the nobleman’s voice. Carried by curiosity, which quickly melted into confusion, she stared up at him for the longest. Well this was rather random, but not uninteresting.

“Sir?” She prompted, bemused. As if she wished to question his request, but it was all strange. “May I ask what for?”

Honestly, two lieutenants in the World of the Living. Ama didn’t see it possible. Unless... Unless there was some importance to such a mission. Her mind was bewildered with the potential circumstances.
