Heh- so they're extremely Naive? And just because I can feel like someone is going to mention it, yes I make a good 98% of my Headcannons with they/them pronouns Because I can, and I like making all genders inclusive, especially since I've seen some of you talk about how you replace S/O with other countries to make your own shipping scenerios and honestly, I never felt more appreciated in my life lol

Allies and Axis crush on an overly naive S/O

I'm starting off by saying not a single one of these guys know how to get their point across, and are all internally screaming.

Allies:

America:

Has taken so many deep breaths over every lost pick up line and joke.

But finds it kind of hot they don't get it, which means he doesn't have to kill his energy or make a fool of himself to get them to like him

The biggest hint he tried to give them, which still failed, was the classic, pebbles on their window and playing a romantic song to them.

His S/O was like, why did you not just send me the link in text lmao.

Cue him screaming into a bush on the way home.

Finally admits it straight forward Because it was honestly killing him, but the cute flustered look on their face was so worth it.

England:

Welp. This is frustrating.

He's the biggest hopeless romantic and is so shocked none of his methods of buying flowers and such was working.

Just, please, accept his love, no? You're just going to assume these letters from a secret admirer is some kind of prank.

Is his S/O okay?

He literally got on his knees from sheer relief after he admits his feelings, and his S/O said they felt the same, scolding him for not just telling them.

France:

Literally doesn't know what to do about this. Literally everyone he knows, knows he's a complete flirt and a romantic so maybe that's why they don't pick up what he's SMASHING ON THE GROUND SO HARD PLEASE!

It's quite funny for everyone else though.

Finally gets to telling them face to face, and still wanted to face palm Because it was. So. Much. Easier.

China:

First thought they were playing hard to get until they mentioned how odd it felt not having a boyfriend like their other friends.

He hinted at his feelings and they literally went "if only..."

Spent so long trying to figure why it was going over their head.

It was his S/O's friends who spilled the beans to them before he had a chance to admit his own feelings, but was just, so happy they finally got it.

Russia:

Has no clue what he's doing wrong, and assumes it was because they didn't like him.

Became even more confused when they still persisted on hanging out with him.

Eventually has a tiny meltdown asking why they toyed with his feelings for them.

S/I: wait... You have feelings for me?

Russia, having the sudden urge to beat his head against a pole for unknown reasons: DA!?!

Axis:

Germany:

Immediately knows it goes over their head, and finds it amusing.

Tries to see how long it takes them, and honestly it felt more like bonding time and a chance to know them without the akwardness of dating.

When he realized how badly it was going over their head he was quick to ask them what they find in a guy attractive.

When it sounded like they described himself, it made it so easy to admit his feelings. Not fully aware he just happens to fall in the category.

Japan:

Thinks it's the cutest thing.

Makes it easy for him so he can sort out his own feelings to be fair.

But the few times they watched romantic movies, it kind of irked him because his S/O didn't understand some of the flirting going on in the movie.

Finally admits his feelings, and was grateful they agreed to take things slow, little did he know it would be even too slow for his own liking.

Italy:

Has the confused Pikachu face when he dropped his best pickup and they just kind of laughed and walked past him.

Immediately has a deflated ego, but gets stubborn and pulls all the stops out.

Why are they doing this to him? Please, say sike right now.

Wants to cry when he figures out all it took was a little straight forward honesty, but is now hyper aware about being a bit more straight forward.

This has become my favorite ask, just because I find this trope to be the funniest and most satisfying thing in the world. Like it's super painful, ESPECIALLY if the naive love interest liked them back but all the hints fly over their head. Even better if the love interest is confused by the increase of attention their crush gives them.
