Jason Ross and Seven Lions to Take Over Insomniac TV in "The Atlas" Livestream
The two longtime collaborators will be delivering the hotly anticipated third chapter of the mix series live.
Jason Ross is taking his mix show "The Atlas" to the airwaves of Insomniac TV for a special livestream this coming week.
Ross' frequent collaborator Seven Lions will be making an appearance with him during the event. Seven Lions' Ophelia Records imprint has become a home to Ross, who has released multiple singles and his debut album 1000 Faces on the label. The two have also made lightning strike twice with their hit collaborations "Ocean" in 2018 and their sweeping electro-trance hybrid single "Known You Before" a year later.
It's been a momentous year for Ross, whose 2020 debut album landed him on the shortlist of promising producers to watch. The multi-genre artist began making a spectacle of his music discovery process with the advent of his "The Atlas" mix show earlier this year. His forthcoming appearance will mark his third installment in the series, and likely his biggest offering yet.
Catch the reunion between Seven Lions and Jason Ross on Insomniac TV Monday, September 14th live starting at8PM PST (11PM ET).

SLANDER Channel Heaven Trap Roots in New Collaboration with Jason Ross
SLANDER and Jason Ross induce euphoria with their collaborative offering "Better Than Heaven."
SLANDERhas joined Ophelia Records alumnus Jason Ross for a purifying new collaboration, "Better Than Heaven" featuring JT Roach.
The densely melodic single is in alignment with SLANDER's "heaven trap" roots, a niche sub-genre consisting of thumping trap 808's and uplifting leads, which the duo themselves coined. The euphoric single achieves an apex that comes nothing short of befitting its title. Both SLANDER and Jason Ross have reputations for crafting leads that are larger than life and the producers' combined force on "Better Than Heaven" is enough to leave listeners in a surrounding state of bliss. SLANDER strategically premiered the show-stopping track on one of the world's biggest stages possible, Decadence NYE, which instantly captured the attention of thousands who were drawn in by the captivating vocals of JT Roach.
Jason Ross has been an ascendant force in 2020 especially following the release of his album 1000 Faces at the start of the year. His impressive debut album featured a slew of dance music favorites including vocalist Dia Frampton as well as fellow producers Dabin and Seven Lions.
Meanwhile, JT Roach, an accomplished songwriter, has notably appeared on NBC's Songland, and is no stranger to SLANDER. Previously, SLANDER enlisted JT Roach for the duo's wistful 2019 single "Potions" which was produced alongside Said The Sky.

SLANDER Teases Soaring Upcoming Collab with Jason Ross, "Better Than Heaven"
WARNING: This teaser will make you miss festival season.
SLANDERtook to Twitter today to tease a forthcoming collab with Jason Ross, which is sounding like an absolute behemoth of a pre-summer future bass anthem.
The single, titled "Better Than Heaven," was initially revealed back in January sans a release date. SLANDER has now confirmed that the track will officially drop on May 29th, 2020.
OG SLANDER fans will be thrilled to hear that the duo are dipping back into their "heaven trap" roots for the upcoming single, which is a soaring, (virtual) festival-ready melodic trap tune. The tweet's video does a fantastic job of demonstrating the single's unique production, which employs arpeggiated future bass chords and aching male vocals to lethal effect.
Check out our early-2020 interview with Jason Ross, in which he explains the shift in sound that led to songs like "Better Than Heaven," here.
"Better Than Heaven" is officially dropping next Friday, May 29th, 2020.

Jason Ross Shares Spellbinding "1000 Faces" Remix Package
The diverse three-tracker features remixes from Just A Gent, AWAKEND, and Matt Fax.
Trance and future bass favorite Jason Rosstoday shared a gorgeous remix package for his debut album 1000 Faces. The three-track EP, which arrives on the Seven Lions-led electronic tastemaker Ophelia Records, features three diverse reworks spanning trap, dubstep, and deep house.
View the original article to see embedded media.
Just A Gent kicks things off with a breathtaking remix of "Leave Me To Wonder (with Fiora)." Long championed as one of the most forward-thinking producers in electronic music, the Australian wunderkind flaunts his hypnotic yet thunderous sound with a stentorian trap edit. Newcomer AWAKEND follows with an arpeggio-laden melodic dubstep rendition of "When The Night Falls (with Fiora)" before French producer Matt Fax closes out the bundle with an intoxicating deep house rework of the title track, "1000 Faces (with Dia Frampton)."
Ross' 1000 Faces proved to be a smash, climbing to #1 on Beatport's Top 100 Trap/Future Bass releases, peaking at #2 on the platform's Top 100 Dance releases, and reaching #3 on the US iTunes Dance chart. You can stream the remix package in full via your go-to streaming platform here.

SLANDER Tease new Collab With Jason Ross, “Better Than Heaven,” Coming Soon
The decade might be over, but time stops for no man! As we move into 2020, we’re already hearing clips of new music to look forward to, including this collaboration between SLANDER and Jason Ross played at Decadence Colorado on New Year’s Eve.
Titled “Better Than Heaven,” the song begins with some soft male vocals before bringing out SLANDER’s iconic heaven trap sound. With Jason Ross in the mix, the drop also gets some trance/melodic energy that rounds out the sound and really takes it up to the next level.
No word yet on when this is coming out except “coming soon” from SLANDER, but bet we’ll be keeping an eye out for it. Check out the clip below.

Jason Ross’ "1000 Faces" Takes You on a Journey of Love, Loss, and Self-Reflection
@JasonRossOFC #1000Faces is a testament to his growth as a musician
The first time I saw Jason Ross was when he opened for Seven Lions at Echostage in Washington, DC in 2018. As an Anjunabeats enthusiast, I was familiar with Ross’ music, but watching him perform live was a true testament to his skills as an artist. By the time he played his second track, his music had pulled at my heartstrings and I’d forgotten who I originally came to see.
After that first…
