I know that this is kind of late, but how do you think Sunstreaker and Sideswipe would feel about Valentine's Day? ❤️💝
Like they see that Eva might be a bit upset about something and they want to cheer her up, and then they find out that an Earth holiday called Valentine's Day is near.
For some reason, I can just imagine a miscommunication about the traditions and the twins think that they need to give Eva an actual human heart. That would be both hilarious and horrifying. 😅
I love questions like these because it feels like those cheesy cartoon specials that kind of just set the main plot of the story aside just to have a holiday-centric episode. Like, the big evil bad guy is trying to take over the world - but there's only seven days still Critmas and all the trees are sold out! Shenanigans ensues, and we all move on and learn an important lesson we'll never speak of again.
ANYWAYS! Your question.
I hc that the twins go about it on their own in different ways.
💛Sunstreaker:
- He would know of Valentine's day, only because of those 'earth' memories. He wouldn't jump on it unless you showed interest or expressed a bit of nostalgia. - And he would go over the top, if only to be the best damn date you've ever had. He wants to be number one, even if its for some silly earth custom. Forget everyone before him. - Paper hearts? Cheap candy? No, there's going to be writing in the sky and artisan treats. If he can show off, he will. And if he can't show off, he will. -The only issue is, he'll expect you to reciprocate. He worked hard to impress you, now you got to do it back. Wine and dine him just as hard. Better hope you can get a loan.
❤️Sideswipe:
- Now HE'S the one that would be like, "Wait, you give those fleshy blood-pumps to your romantic interests? Like... the hearts of your enemies? COOL!" - After explaining and possibly saving someone's life, he would kind of just smile and nod and be disappointed for a bit. But then he would make the custom his own and throw his own spin on things. - Instead of giving you anything heart shaped, he would give you things that were sparked shaped. He would find candies that looked like energon so it would look like you two were eating the same thing. - His dates would be more of what he knows you like, but he's not opposed to suggestions or trying new things. Sideswipe is easy, casual, and low maintenance... so long as you knew how that date was going to end.

So what we know so far is that the justice league as a whole never new about and ghost or the infinite realms, but did Constantine and other magic users now? Does Dr. Fate?
Those are some interesting questions!
And now, I'm afraid that in order to properly answer you I'm going to have to be a bit annoying.
Truth is, I'm one of those fanwriters who just... doesn't have consistent universal headcanons for a lot of things. There are some common headcanons I use to answer recurring questions (e.g. finding an explanation that accounts for both DP ghosts and DC ghosts in a crossover universe) but in a lot of cases the lore/theories I have about how the world of a specific story works will depend on how I need things to work to suit that specific story.
As for the explanations in Deathly Weapons:
When it comes to the League as a whole, you're completely correct. The standard headcanon I use is that portals to the Ghost Zone/Infinite Realms are very rare and unpredictable outside of a few hot-spot locations (Amity Park, the Bermuda Triangle etc.), which means that actual ghost sightings throughout history have been incredibly uncommon and easily confused with other paranormal/ magical occurrences or mixed in with urban myths/ folklore/ cryptid stories. Add to that a few... interested parties with a vested interest in keeping it that way and League was left with so few data points that no-one even realised there was a pattern until Phantom called Batman and Robin's attention to it.
With regards to Doctor Fate, my take (at least in the DW!Verse) is that the Lords of Order and Chaos are at least aware of the Ghost Zone as another dimensional plane. But since the residents aren't really involved in their conflict and the Zone itself is too big and varied (some areas ordered, some chaotic) to be useful in that conflict or worth the potential costs of aggravating them, they mostly just leave each other alone. I would expect that the average ghost would be more wary/hostile to the Lords than the other way around, since I usually go by the rule that magic is something that can affect them - which for a regular ghost means potentially enduring a very one-sided stomping before being forced into whatever humiliating/ condescending/ cruel situation the Lord feels like.
I also have the idea that Clockwork and Doctor Fate personally know/know of each other and have a kind of passive-aggressive grudging-respect working relationship on the rare occasions their paths cross (both seeing the other as a melodramatic interfering busybody), which isn't relevant to any story idea but I think is funny.
Now, as for Constantine and other magic users...
Tumblr media
Let me answer your question with another question: Does John Constantine need to exist within the world of Deathly Weapons?
I swear this isn't meant to be condescending. It's just that I don't really see the point in explicitly including characters if they aren't actually going to interact with the plot/ lore/ character arcs of a story. I legitimately don't know whether Constantine exists in the DW-version of Earth 16 but it's kind of immaterial because as far as the plot of DW is concerned he never comes up. If you'd like to imagine that he does and he's too busy dealing with some unrelated side story of his own to show up then feel free. And if you don't want him there at all then feel free to imagine that too.
This is probably going to sound heretical to some comic books fans but I'm okay with each story being it's own separate thing, and I genuinely don't think it's necessary to for every DC character to exist in every story. In the 2004 Teen Titans Animated Series the Justice League never shows up and is barely mentioned outside of some indirect references. Most of the League (and Earthly heroes in general) are barely present in Green Lantern: The Animated Series. I'm fine with Batman: The Animated Series just dropping Jason and making Tim the second Robin because the writers couldn't/didn't want to/ didn't feel like including a version of Death in the Family as part of that story.
I'm fine with a story or series or show just exploring one character or team in one city and leaving it completely ambiguous whether the rest of the DCU is present in that world. It's also fine by me if a story is taking place in a universe where certain characters exist but never had a reason to become the heroes/villains they are in main continuity. I can accept a world where Harvey Dent became a (perhaps slightly intense) lawyer and nothing went wrong. I can accept a world where a character named Barbara Gordon exists but decided to become a librarian or a gymnast or a private investigator or what-have-you. I can accept a world where Barry Allen or Wally West is the first and only Flash. I can accept a world where Harleen Quinzel declines to apply to Arkham and instead takes work at a small clinic that the Batfamily interact with in passing. To me those are just fun Easter Eggs and if that's all the relevance they have to the story then that's perfectly fine.
I know I'm slowly becoming the sole occupant of the tiny Tumblr niche that is "complaining about scope management" but that's kind of where my brain goes; if a story element or character isn't contributing to the narrative relative to the amount of time/space they consume, then what's the point of having them there?  References and Easter Eggs are a lot of fun, but a collection of references and Easter Eggs does not a story make.
(It’s that “narrative efficiency” thing I keep banging on about.  If you explicitly add a character then you have to add in-universe reasons for why they aren’t participating in the story.  And then more reasons to justify why they don’t just solve the big plot conflicts that are more narratively interesting to have other cast members tackle, but which they would obviously be a better/ safer/ more effective solution to within the rules of their fictional world.  Adding the character means taking time away from the actual story to fix a problem that never needed to be caused in the first place.)
There are other story concepts I've kicked around in my head where Constantine does exist and does interact with DP and other DC characters but even then, what his role is and how much he knows changes depending on what he needs to know to make that story work.
So I guess, TL:DR - in Deathly Weapons DP-style ghosts are mostly a mystery to the relevant characters, and for others who might exist "off-screen" it could simply be a field of science/magic/study that they aren't personally interested in pursuing.
Sorry for the unsatisfying and weaselly answer, but that's kind of the best I can give you on this one.

First: welcome back!!
Secondly: WHAT THE HECK DID I JUST READ!?!?
Earth working alongside the autobots again, Sunny and Sides apparently being our guardians, and Eva apparently having massive amnesia given how she's apparently years ahead into the FUTURE!?!
I can't decide whether to congratulate you for a very good first chapter, or to find a way to strangle you for putting poor Eva through more trauma BS.
You are such an AMAZING writer!!
Thank you???? This is the angriest sounding compliment I've received... so far 🤣
I feel like some readers are out for blood

Unfortunately some reason when sunstreaker was lamenting on drift being revived, I thought of that meme with the person hanging off the building, only being held by another person who says I got you than another person coming with a stick trying to push him off. ( love your story's SO ❤️ much!!!! Also your a total tease! I both hate and love that!)
I can't NOT make this meme now

If Eva (and hopefully sideswipe) did end up on the Lost Light like sunstreaker did, do you think they would have stayed longer or not?
They could, if they wanted. Or they could stay on Earth or Cybertron together. Either way, they would be inseparable. Now if they stayed on the LL, they would definitely have differing opinions on Getaway's mutiny and Megatron's presence.

RANDOM QUESTION GO!
If you were stranded on an 🏝, and you can have 5 things(or people) to have with you, what would( or who) you pick?
I'm an introvert, why the hell would I want people 🤣🤣🤣 I'm never good at these because I have so many questions (vegetation? access to fresh water? Native species?).
I'll take a good knife, a potato, a duck, a solar charger, and a tablet with as many books as I can have loaded on it.

So what episode does danny and the others leave amity?
That's kind of a tricky question because for both Danny Phantom canon and Young Justice canon the answer in either case is sort of "not really during an episode".
If you're asking about where Young Justice: Deathly Weapons sits within DP's timeline then things get a little bit... wibbly wobbly. Like I hinted at in this ask, I'm kind of taking a different approach to canon-compliance for each show because of the difference in how both were written.
With Young Justice, you can take DW to be 100% compliant with all Season 1 material up to the end of Auld Acquaintance, after which we go full canon divergent from everything including later reveals/retcons since I really don't vibe with the rest of it.
With Danny Phantom things are a bit more squishy because I find there to be a lot of weird little inconsistencies, internal contradictions, minor logic/ characterisation problems and some iffy implications sort of peppered throughout. Because of this I've decided to take more creative liberties in order to reconcile some smaller issues while wholesale dropping a couple of episodes that I felt really didn't fit and overall hurt the narrative/ characters/ themes more than contributing to it (e.g. Livin' Large and Phantom Planet).
In terms of timeline, DP has a much more fluid and stand-alone-episodic canon compared to YJ's very tight chronology. There are a few small details possibly hinting at specific dates in a couple of the episodes but since I'm updating it to sync the stories together anyway (and I'm not sure if those dates actually make sense together since DP tends to be a bit loosey-goosey about its finer points) we'll be putting those aside.
To make it socket into the immediately-post-YJS1 timeline, I've creatively massaged and shuffled DP's timeline to take it as it playing out over roughly a year, ending a while ahead of YJS1E1 Independence Day, with D-Stablized as the last canon episode. For Team Phantom there's a space of a few months between DP canon ending and YJ:DW's plot catching them, where you can presume things were pretty Business As Usual for the Amity Park crew (patrols, ghost fights, dodging swirlies from Dash, trying not to fail class or get caught, et cetera.) and Dani was out traveling around on her own.
If YJS1 canonically starts on 4 July 2010, then Team Phantom would have left Amity Park around late March 2010. Working backwards from there, D-Stablized would have wrapped DP canon sometime in January, with first contact between Vlad and Lex starting at the same time or immediately after.
So yeah, I think the closest answer to what you're asking is: about 2-3 months after D-Stablized.
Hope that clarifies more than confuses.

So I looked at your art for ch 18 and I was wondering is the guy in black and red Jason Todd? I'm just curious because that would mean that Jason had already 'died' and that grayson isn't the first robin? I'm just a bit confused that's all
(Referring to this concept art piece that I did for Chapter 18 a while ago.)
No, the figure in black and red isn't meant to be Jason. Looking back at it now I do get the confusion - the suit design for these guys does have some strong general overlap with YJ's take on the League of Shadows mook uniforms, especially when you're only seeing a piece of the torso and boots.
But aha! I have accidentally fooled you. CH18 is actually going to give the Team some Brand New Baddies to deal with. (Even if I did liberally borrow their basic concept from some rather obscure existing characters in the catalogue of DC's extended comics history.)
When it comes to canon compliance and general questions of "will X character show up", as mentioned last time Deathly Weapons is 100% compliant with Young Justice Season 1, including the companion comics, up to the end of Auld Acquaintance after which it goes full canon divergent. I have some significant frustrations with later seasons, not least of which being the scope management nightmare YJ created for itself by rampantly adding characters with barely any meaningful narrative function until they basically drowned out any ability for it to have a central narrative at all. 8-10 central/ focus characters is about the maximum any show can logistically carry at one time before that focus becomes so fragmented as to be incoherent and by the end of S1 they were already at capacity.
Like I said in my goodbye to canon post, I've had to tighten the focus for YJ:DW and put some YJS1 cast members on a bus just to ensure I don't lose the central thread of what this story is saying amidst tonnes of extraneous background noise. Basically unless someone/something appears within YJS1 or DP canon your best bet is that they won't appear in YJ:DW except maybe as Easter Eggs or in some kind of one-off narrative function. Personally, I think YJ would have been a stronger show if it had continued over a couple of years directly from the end of Season 1, following the established cast and plot threads, rather than throwing them out to timeskip everywhere and pile on later 'generations' just for the sake of it, so that's the general approach I'm going to be taking to any 'future' characters/ stories here.
...but it seems I have become distracted.
TL:DR: Deathly Weapons is 100% canon compliant to YJS1 meaning we have Dick as Robin, those figures aren't Shadows and especially aren't Jason although I understand the design confusion, and as for who they are well... you may find that out in a few weeks.
Thanks for stopping by!

Can you recommened transformers fics where human and cybertronian relationship and cultures are explored(there doen't need to be romantic)? Or just some fics you like?
I love a good culture-mesh fic - but my fic consumption has been poor as of late.
So here's what I got. I have in my read list two fics that were recommended to me that I have yet to read: - Cultural Exchange by Therrae (Dasha_mte) [Rec by Kyliea on AO3] - Domestic Electronics by Bibliotecaria_D [ Rec by @theopenread-der]
I've only read a bit of A Star's Edge by @unusualjuggernaut. It involves a human learning how to be cybertronian [Starscream&OC]
@montyuh has a collection of reader-inserts. I bet you they have something that may interest you.
And of course I have to direct you to anything by @authorticity on AO3. No spicy content. All platonic, and incredibly thought-provoking.
I wish you luck in your search.
