this may have been talked about before (& i’m sorry if it has!! my memory is … not so good 💔) but! what nebula formation is micah’s favorite? there’s the cat’s eye one, the heart nebula, & the pillars of creation (technically the eagle nebula but my absolute favorite!) among many others … hehe 💫⭐️💫

Micah's favourite nebula is IC 1805, also known as Sharpless 2-190, the Running Dog Nebula, and, as you have mentioned, the Heart Nebula! Located in the Perseus Arm of the galaxy in the constellation, Cassiopeia, and it is located approximately 7,500 light-years from Earth. While Micah adores anything that is star shaped, those that are in the shape of a heart also wins their heart, so the fact that IC 1805 is shaped as so makes this nebula their favourite ever since they learnt more about the nebulas when they were at the age when they could understand the fact that there were more than just the stars and sun and moon in outer space. Micah also loves the fact that IC 1805 have a smaller neighbour called Westerhout 5, also known as the Soul Nebula. Together as a complex pair, they are known as "the Heart and Soul", and Micah finds the thought of their harmony quite beautifully! Micah does have a photo canvas of both the Heart and Soul Nebulas that they had taken with their own extremely advanced telescope and camera in their home at Los Angelos! These personal photos of the Heart and Soul are extremely beyond loved and cherished to Micah, but there will be a day when they will give the Soul canvas to someone who they hold most dearly and closely to be the Soul to their Heart. 💖
