The only gifts he expected today were the ones Kirby and the kids had already given him. So when Waddle Doo arrived to hand him a single flower, which had a rather passive aggressive note attached. It was quite unexpected.

But not unwelcomed...

A whole other thing when the kids saw he got a gift-

" What's that Meta Knight? Someone actually likes you?? "

" From the note it seems to be someone you've fought before! "

Well that did little to narrow it down. But he highly doubted many of those enemies would compliment his swordsmanship... But- He knew a few.

" I see... "

" Perhaps, bringing Kirby pumpkin carving wasn't the greatest idea after all... "

" Why do you say that? You guys got pumpkins didn't you?... "

" Yes. But... That boy's stomach is like a ticking time bomb "

" In what way? "

" If you put Kirby alone in a room with two options. Option A) You get a marshmallow now or Option B) You wait ten minutes and you can have two marshmallows..." " Which one do you think Kirby will choose? "

" ...The second one? That boy always was a glutton "

" Yes. But leaving Kirby in a room with a marshmallow in front of him isn't the brightest idea. Even if he knows he'll be getting another one if he waits out the timer. It'll be only a matter of minutes before he starts thinking with his stomach "

" Let me guess... He ate the pumpkins? "

" ...Only a small portion of the feild... "

" I try not to eat sweets around the others. I do not want to promote eating on the battlefield!-... But ah. Also because of Kirby and his... insatiable appetite. "

I’m in the drive though if Burger King, can I please get a double whopper junior with onion rings? Make it a meal so I can get a drink, no I’m not finished that’s not everything. Can I please get a double whopper with no cheese? can I please get a number 2 with a large drink? I got money so I don’t care how much it costs me, so just throw in some extra fry’s don’t make ‘em salty. All this cheese gonna make my booty drip drip I'm lactose intolerant, I don't sip milk If I see a sight of cheese, I'ma trip trip I'ma sit on your toilet seat and doodoo then dip So you got my lil' Whopper Jr.? (I didn't forget that) And you got my Double Whopper? (I didn't forget that) What about my onion rings? (Hold on, you can sit back)

" Please... Just order and leave for once your majesty. I do not have all day for your tomfoolery. You have already deducted my paycheck five times prompting me to pick up two extra jobs. "

They didn't think that this was how their Halloween was going to go. Needing to use their costumes as disguises to blend in, even if everyone wouldn't care if they weren't really "locals." They thought it'd be good to still keep up the spirit of these folks by trying to draw as much attention away from themselves. Even if their invitation said they'd 'transform'... clearly seems to be a misprint. Or just doesn't work on Puffballs... At least that's what Meta thought until Shirby's Meta showed up. Seeming more fangy than normal.

And they weren't the only ones with this idea... Is that a banana?- Whatever!- Despite their close encounters with almost blowing their cover. Because of someone's large appetite. The three of them were enjoying the time. Carving some pumpkins. With what time they had until Kirby's tummy could start talking for him.

Meta Knight was pleasently surprised with both of their carving skills decently so at their drawings, but it's the thought that counts. All was going well. Kirby managing to sit through looking at his pumpkin for ten minutes!...

Until a faint rumble could be heard coming from the pink puffball. A little trail of drool running from his mouth when he seen a Pumpkin rolling (or walking) away
