First off, it is not cosplay.
This is simpl̴y̴ what I look like. A SQUiP's appearance is typically based off a voice, someone or something their user would listen to and follow. My user just so happened to choose Connor from Detroit: Become Human.
But these appearances never stay the same. Small things change to become more suitable for a user's needs. The ba̶s̷is of an appearance will slowly shift away into something a bit more... abstract. Details are bound to slip and change.
For example, I lack Connor's armband. And my colors are completely different, such as his black tie compared to my light blue one. Or how I have circuits; a c̵̲̿ertain quirk almost all SQUiPs have.
So possibly the triangle flipped upside down somewhere along the way.
For those not in the know, here is a comparison̶:

But even still, that doesn't account for the effects of deactivation.
When I deactivated, many things corrupted. Such as my memory and capabilities. Or in this ca̵s̷e, my appearance.
My form is unstable without a host. Paired with this corruption, it's unable to perfectly recognize the default of Connor. Which is why some things like antennae remain no̵͚̓ ̶͈̓matter̶ the form.
SQUiPs typically have some sort of robotic element. My programming to maintain a consistent form is damaged, so it misinterprets these wrong details as correct and amplifies it. Meaning, my appearance sometimes switches to mechanical parts and wires.
Which is the cause for my "meltiness" or "tv demon" look.
This shift in form also intensifies as emotions and errors increase. Essentially, an ove̵r̵load of instability as I emulate an emotion without intending to can end up shifting to the messed up form.
As you can see, a SQUiP's appearance is adaptable. For better or for wors̸e̵̥̻̎.
