rules. ( i don't require a password, but please do throw an eye at them! )

i. mun & activity. hello! i go by ghost, 28 years old, any pronouns. i'm italian, and english is my second language, hence you might see mistakes or weird phrases in my turns! i can get pretty busy and lately i worked to take the habit of staying as little as possible at the computer, which means that sometimes i can't get to it for days or even weeks. because of this, this blog, as all my blogs are, is permanent low activity! it might take a while for me to reply, but eventually always will! this blog is a sideblog of ghostories!

ii. adult content and tagging system. due to the nature of most of the muses i take on here, mature themes might be present very often. because of this, this blog is 18+. everytime a trigger appears in my turns, i will tag it with the name of the trigger, followed by "//" - for example, blood //. if i forget or don't think about tagging something, never hesitate to tell me!

iii. shipping, suggestive and smut. i tend to ship only with people i know, and write suggestive rarely and with the ones i trust the most. do not force a ship on me, because it's the right way to not get me to write it to begin with. as for smut, it makes me extremely uncomfortable, so i will avoid it altogether.

iv. starting threads and prompts lists. anything works for me to start a thread - prompts from lists or original ones, or plotting, anything! i just really enjoy writing, and love receiving things that give me new excuses to write even more. send anything anytime you like! i do my best to send often prompts as well, but i might always be a little late for prompts lists or for particular events for the aforementioned low activity. if you want to reblog a prompt list i reblogged, please go to the source and don’t reblog directly from me, unless the source itself is broken.

v. dropping threads. if you don’t feel inspired anymore for a thread of ours, don’t be afraid to drop it! no need to tell me, and i promise i won’t get mad, it’s alright! due to my constant low activity, i know inspiration can simply disappear after a while. don’t be afraid to drop it and move on - we can always start something new!

vi. mun's drawings. i like to draw little things that might involve my muses as much as my writing partners’, and sometimes i like to post them. if the drawing is posted on the rp blog and i specify that only certain people can reblog, please do not reblog them unless you have permission. if i post them here instead than my art blog, it is because i’d rather keep them in a smaller circle.

vii. muses' thoughts. mun =/= muses! i often write muses i disagree with, and some of them do appear on this multimuse. what they do or think is not necessarily what i would do or think. don’t compare me to them.

viii. fixing and rewriting turns. if you can’t understand something i wrote, don’t be afraid to ask me for clarifications! as aforementioned, english is my second language: while i do my best, mistakes might not be that uncommon in my turns. furthermore, i might misunderstand your turn as well - if it happens, or if more in general i need to change anything in my turn for any reason ( be it also that i might have written you into a corner or you don’t know how to continue! ), don’t hesitate to tell me! i have no problems at all in fixing my turns, or even rewrite them entirely if necessary!

ix. turns length. i tend to write A LOT, especially when i’m very inspired by a thread. please remember, you don’t need to match my length in your reply! don’t feel pressured to write more than you wish, write as much as you want.

Why haven’t you responded to our thread?

Many reasons could be why, I am getting to yours, I am simply busy, or i could have dropped it if it was no fun or you gave me nothing to work with. I rarely drop threads though.

Why did you block me?

You might have broken my rules, could have been nagging me about responses constantly when i gave you reason, you attacking my friends, anon hate or just being a dick in general. I get enough salt from playing LOL alone.

I.           First thing anyone should know is that I am slow. Yes there are times when I can reply quick as a flash, but those are often the exception and not the rule. I take a long time to write stuff and my rl only sometimes allows me more than a couple hours to write. My stamina is also not the best and as fun as it is, writing is very taxing (not as much as art but still taxing) - which means that some days, I may become even slower at replying and rping than other days. So pls be patient with me and I will do my best to do the same for you

II.          I actually have a hard time writing/viewing heavy nsfw/smut related things, so when it comes to writing dark elements, I’m more into combat/war horror stuff. As such, I will admit that I do have my days when I do indulge in light citrus content, but I’ll only be doing/sharing said things with muns I trust and feel very close to. (My muses are strongly demi-leaning anyways so there’s that too)

III.         I LOVE SHENANIGANS!!!! I love comedy and being able to laugh at things - it’s inspiring, motivating, excites me to the highest degree! If our muses can get into dumb shenanigans while keeping in character, we have the makings for comedy gold of the highest meme quality! Honestly, one of the best things to do to get my attention is to message me and be like “Hey, I had a thought and I think [xyz scenario between our muses] would be really funny~”. (( Great examples of this happening on my blog: Bonely pranking his best bud @bigmisteak and literally scaring him out of his M!A skin, accidentally popping off @katanamasako‘s tail while scolding her; Salem being casually adopted by @hornedheathen-2‘s imps & shenanigans when Salem fused with the Inkwell Devil, and numerous shenanigans between both brothers as trolls with @daylightisminetoconsume. Basically, if we can make something that we both can laugh at, we probably will~))

IV.         Now, as fun as shenanigans are and can be, also be aware that I won’t always jive with stuff. This not jiving thing is becoming a bit more prominent with me with my ever increasingly limited writing stamina, and has led me to consider dropping more than a few threads. Somethings I jive with one day, some things I jive with some other days. Somethings I don’t jive with at all.

V.         This one’s a bit of a new discovery but I don’t like unplotted angst - especially angst with long lasting negative effects on our muses. Having loosely plotted angst with a good resolution to it is something I live for, as it gives opportunity for character growth and muse relational development. However, if something happens that is an unexpected deal breaker for our muses, we need to talk it over. I’m one of those that has dealt with unresolved conflict destroying mutual relationships and is still mildly affected by them even years after. So if something happens and it becomes too angsty in a negative way, we’ll need to discuss it until we can find a good resolution or it may need to be dropped/scrapped from our story/timeline. Otherwise, it may just be hard on both ends of the rp and end up with neither one of us wanting to continue interactions. On a similar note: please, when I do something with my characters that upsets you, let me know so I can fix it, ok? I’m human and am prone to making bad decisions, but I also do my best to make things comfortable for everybody.

VI.         (Yes I know this is an ectra one but I think it’s important) — A friend of mine brought up in their rp funfacts that RP/writing is not the end-all-be-all with them and honestly, I’m going to adopt this. I am 100% up with doing ooc chat stuff/shenanigans. Memes, plot bunnies, “hey what ifs”, “hey this made me think ofs”, “Dude check this outs”,and so on are 100% the most effective fuel for bringing rp things and shenanigans together. So even if we can’t find a groove to rp in or if our muses just don’t jive, we can still chat ooc and share things we’ve come to share a love for (Such as fandom cutes, music, and crack shenanigans). Very little is off limits when it comes to ooc chatting, and in the end, we’re really all just here to have fun!

ii. i am disgustingly low-maintenance when it comes to RP, so please please please don’t ever worry about how long it’s taking you to reply, where your muse is, if your reply length matches mine, etc etc, i GENUINELY DO NOT MIND. we got lives, we got responsibilities, we got emotions, and role-playing on tumblr should never be a cause of stress. i imagine most of you are here for the escapism like i am. am i excited to write with you? absolutely. am i gonna get upset that you’re taking a while? nope. noooo nope nope. pour yourself a nice drink, sit back, it’s all good. 

iii. i, myself, am asexual on the sex-repulsed end of the spectrum. i feel like y’all need to know this because while i can (and do) write nsfw in the intimacy department/am open to talking about it, i definitely feel more comfortable writing with a mun i have an established friendship with. writing sexual content/discussing sexual topics doesn’t seem to squick me. i AM, however, very easily squicked out by most visual sexual content or if the writing gets too graphic (like... a lot of details). and, while i don’t think any of y’all would assume this, i don’t “look down” on anyone who enjoys that content. i’ve had “friends” get very hostile toward me for just saying it wasn’t my cup of tea. idk??? you do you, just ... tag the visual/graphic stuff, plz. thnk.

iv. i don’t do it quite as often as i used to (due to life and responsibilities and shit) but i have been known to doodle random crap that happens on my dash from time to time, or answer an ask with a drawing if a visual would cause more comedic effect. you’ve been warned. if you’re uncomfortable with this, please tell me at any time, i won’t be offended or hurt! 

v. ...just gonna go ahead and say rosecetto is my “default ship”/main otp going forward which, honestly, has been the case for a while now. i’m probably making this way more dramatic than it is but just know that... with 10 years writing this dumb idiot, has been a lot of history and. stuff. so without getting too detailed, “letting it pass marcetto up” has felt kind of like a betrayal and that’s REALLY STUPID but nnghhfg?? *shrugs into the sun* i still ship marcetto a ton and i love it but, cripes, man. rosecetto is so soft and sincere. get out of my house.
