Misbah acknowledges that Lucas went through a traumatic experience but it seems like she's weaponizing that against him and Dillon.

I mean, she's mostly pointing out that that trauma manifested in both self harm and violence - and a lot of things she doesnt even know about - and doesn't want dillon to be put at risk of any of that again. I think she probably feels guilty that she couldn't protect him from that and she's trying to now but it's too late because hayray are stubborn teenage boys who are in love with each other.

(mgv) when adam goes into labor with his and lawrence's pup, he's sent into one of the worst panic attacks he's had in months. he had managed all other appointments beforehand well enough but when the time finally comes, he totally freaks out, remembering how awful it was to be there after the trap, his only visitor having been scott of all people -- whatever frail hope he had of the alpha being even remotely kind to him after everything was dashed within minutes. his instincts are screaming at him to hole up at home, burrow into every blanket and towel and bathroom rug they have, and just pup there. lawrence, who is alarmed but not surprised that adam tries to convince him to let them stay home, realizes very quick that he has to maintain composure if he wants to get through to adam when he's like this.

"don't make me go back there, lawrence," adam had sobbed, "please, i can't-- i can't do it--"

and lawrence holds him as close as he can, forcing his own feelings (sympathy, excitement, nervousness) down long enough to push soothing notes into his scent. "breathe, sweetheart. you can do this. you made it out of that hellhole scared, i promise this will be so much easier than that. you're so brave, adam. you might not think so right now but you are. i'll be right beside you the whole time. you can do this."

luckily lawrence had the foresight to bring their hospital bag out to the car days ago because when adam does calm down enough to follow lawrence's lead, their steps are unsteady, both of them off-balance.

the trip itself is a quieter affair. adam is still panicking, one arm locked with lawrence's and the other wrapped around himself to try to find relief. he almost wants to spring from the car even though they're making good time -- it's an ungodly hour so traffic isn't as bad as it could be.

then lawrence speaks up. "almost there, sweetheart, just a bit longer." and adam whines because he's doing his best, but when he looks over he finds lawrence glancing at his belly instead of him. "we can't wait to meet you."

he was talking to their pup.

coffee talk head cannons and scenarios

headcannons:

● hyde likes being held (and is the little spoon), gala is quite aware of this and hyde will kill him if he tells anyone.

● the barista has a crush on freya (because I have a crush on freya) and that's why ⚠️SPOILER⚠️ they kept slipping around her.

● gala likes having his hair played with.

scenarios:

● gala has had panic attacks before and one day the lights go out at coffee talk while lucas is there and he has a panic attack and gala helps him through it.

● ⚠️SPOILERS⚠️ the barista got really sad after freya told them about the writers residency and misses her lot after she leaves and everyone notices the shift in their mood.

● OR the barista got really sad after freya told them about the writers residency and freya comes back after she leaves coffee talk because she forgot something, realizes that they're upset and ask them whats wrong, they tell her that they're sad because they're gonna miss her and it starts an argument between them, and either they A. make up before she leaves or B. don't get a chance to apologize to each other before she leaves, they don't talk for months after she leaves and they eventually call each other and apologize.

● hyde gets drunk one night and the next day he thinks he's hungover and it turns out that he's actually sick and gala takes care of him and takes him to coffee talk this happens

barista: one green tea with ginger and honey for the vampire with an upset tummy

hyde: okay, NEVER refer to me and say the word "tummy" in the same sentence ever again.

●gala accidentally hurts hyde when he's in fury and its not like a major injury or anything but when he calms down he freaks out and hyde assures him that he's okay and that he's more worried about gala than he is himself and gala still apologizes a million times about it.

●⚠️SPOILERS⚠️ in the version with the "normal endings" (aka what happens when you get every single drink wrong) the barista ends up taking a break because they feel like a screw up, and they're tired of feeling like that, and they're tired of missing everyone. (the tired of missing people part totally isn't because i lowkey feel that way (sarcastic))

●the barista rants to Hyde about how they don’t want to confess to freya because they if she rejects them or even if they do start dating then break up they don’t Wanna make make things awkward because they love freya and they love spending time with her but it turns out that freya had come in coffee talk during this conversation and the barista didn’t notice and assures them that she wouldn’t let that happen and that she does feel the same way.

Has he ever said something wrong or bad that he doesn't take accountability and apologize for?

Again, has he ever been mean to Will and NOT apologized (or tried to apologize) as soon as he realizes what he's doing?

Mike Wheeler is a traumatized teenage boy who doesn't have any grasp of how to properly communicate his feelings. He's going to say and do things that are mean/rude/annoying/irritating. But as soon as he realizes, he tries to make it right. I don't understand what more people want from him.

The only person he's ever purposefully hurt with his words is Hopper & I think it's pretty obv that Hopper just knew Mike was acting out and forgave him. So again, idk what more people want??? He's trying his best???

I’m definitely putting the cart before the horse, because I have three active multi-chapter WIPs, but I’m debating whether or not to put Nancy Wheeler Can’t Win (my vaguely Freaks and Geeks-inspired no-UD AU) and Life During Wartime (my Will-and-Jonathan no-UD AU) in the same universe and if so how to work out the timeline.

It was suppose to have been a simple quiet evening, one where she'd celebrate with a movie and a well dressed lemonade — concealed with a flavored gin, that would give her the relaxation she needed after finishing her assignment on the deadline date.

However, she was far from relaxed as she went to review the footage she had handed over personally to professor on a USB stick earlier in the day. Still having a copy on her files, she'd opened it to admire her own work and fawn over herself, as the narcissist she was. Although, any admiration soon faded into a creeping fear as her eyes widened at the sight of her and Lucas arguing. Maybe it wasn't so bad, perhaps her professor would think it was a take on improvised conflict. Looking for a silver lining, she could definitely swing this and make it plausible.

Well, until their clothes came off and their acting turned into carnal movements that she had no hope in explaining to a room full of their peers.

Fuck.

It had taken her less than ten minutes to frantically make her way over to Lucas' apartment in OC, with the full intention of breaking down his door, if she couldn't receive an answer. With clenched fists, she thumped onto the panels with a brute force that had only been previously reserved for rare occasions. However, this seemed to fit the bill.

After what felt like an eternity, she became the tiniest bit relieved that he was in fact home and opened the door.

"The camera was running," she started, sounding almost out of breath. "When we... you know." Despite the high stakes, she was aware that she'd probably already attracted the attention of nosy neighbors with her unexpected arrival and she didn't need the whole block knowing more of her apparent promiscuous lifestyle.

"And my professor has a copy of it." She fretted. "I copied the wrong file and now we're all going to watch them in class tomorrow. Everyone's going to see me naked." And with her straddling him, but, of course, she'd been more concerned about how she'd be perceived.

Also, despite fading to black before there was anything to even fade into, I appreciate the "we're gonna have so much fun" because that was cuuttteeeee

So Luca and Kieran both mutually agree to remain friends since they 1) want to develop their friendship again after their rough patch and 2) both think they aren't exactly ready for a serious romantic relationship just yet. And everything is fine! Kieran gradually gets the Luca treatment ( ie, physical affection that's often confused for being romantic) and things are going great.

But the thing is. At some point. They start dating for real. They did not tell anyone.

It's so funny because Luca's friend group are very used to Luca's affection, that when they see Luca and Kieran they go " oh, they're such great friends, I'm happy they figured things out :)". Not realizing there's a good chance the two are already together as a couple. They could literally be going out on a date and no one would think the wiser. They actually have a bet on when they figure it out. The rivalry forever stays.

The only person I can see knowing is Penny. But she doesn't tell anyone bc she thinks it's funny.
