How long had it been? Long enough to rebuild the hotel and then some. Days? Weeks? Months? And somehow Cherri was still thinking about it. That kiss. Bold, brash, UNSHAKEABLE Cherri Bomb, was still thinking about what might have been, if only…

No. She shook her head, forcing the thought away as she closed her bedroom door behind her and made her way down the hall. There was no point in thinking about it. She hadn’t even really known him, had she? Sure they’d crossed paths–and blades–more than once. They’d spent a month working together towards Charlie’s goal–mosty a favor to Angel on her part but still.

She reaches the banister overlooking the lobby, and she’s still thinking about it. This was silly. She wasn’t this kind of girl, never had been. She didn’t GET attached. Not like this. Not for anyone–except maybe Angel. Pull yourself together!

It was then that a commotion on the floor below drags her from her internal monologue and curiosity quickly turns to something akin to horror as her gaze snags on a familiar–albeit certainly different–form. And he’s just there. He’s been haunting her for weeks and suddenly she’s watching Charlie wrap him in a sobbing hug as others line up to exclaim and take their turn.

Her heart quakes, lips pressing into a thin line as she feels a wave of SOMETHING wash over her. Large emotions she can’t name welling tears in her single ocular, a lump rising in her throat and she can’t quite tell if she’s happy or sad or angry or everything at once. That last one sounds about right.

Then his gaze turns up–catching her in her turmoil and another wave crashes over her. Pushing her away from the banister, losing her grip and sure she’s going to fall–to drown in whatever this is before she does something she’s never done before. She runs from the fight. Racing back to her room on shaking legs, slamming and locking the door behind her before she sinks to the carpet. Emotions overwhelming her as she curls into the tightest ball that she can and sobs.

Happiness, anger, shame and…relief? It all washes over her like the tide, dragging her under and incapacitating her as she struggles to process it all.

They are both individuals I encountered in GG. They both start with The Letter A. They are both well-established. They are both now more active in my Other fandoms, Star Wars and Naruto respectively...

But I keep mixing up which one wrote That One Great Star Wars Fic and which one wrote the Funky Fun Ninja Fic

Hey, hello. It has been (checks calendar) about 10 whole years since I last actively wrote in the KHR fandom, so I will probably appear quite fresh. But it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. Figured it'd be a good idea to break the ice with an introduction of sorts. My name is Meluna. I'm an illustrator/animator from Japan and I enjoy writing/rping on the side as a hobby. Long story short, the khr brain demons grabbed me and the Hibari muse that was napping for a few years woke up and has been causing problems on purpose. I'm not sure if I will be around too often, but I look forward to writing with the people here. Do not be afraid to start plotting with me or just throwing your muses at me! A not-commission big art project done solely for fun? From Mea?

Yes, there is no Valentines' Day entry from me, since this monster piece took the time meant for VDay Art work. But I could care less since the piece's well worth it. Though to take a break from drawing scenery under the blue skies, I looked back into one of my toughest works last year, and thought of the Lush Caves- inspired background...

You know Minecraft's recent cave generations where they can generate vast open caves with pillars? Sometimes these caves form sinkholes that lets in sky light. And then there's the Cherry Grove biome, one of my favorite biomes to spot in the world... I always wondered how would a Lush Cave generating under Cherry Grove would seem, though that would be impossible (so far) to generate.

That's how this scenery is made... until I also decided to add some Pokemon in it just because. I decided to integrate a rare encounter with Virizion for this scenery. I did a different technique on the characters this time with limited lineart.

happy easter. im not christian or anything but i did some egg decorating for it with family and the fact that ive been thinking about naq recently caused the two ideas to collide. have a little scene doodle about n&q + celeste doing egg decorating. nova and starstraw are there in spirit (couldnt fit them in)

i want to make loreee for my lorwolves + i want it to be a properly structured pack.. pink lemonade and strawberry r the leaders and cherry is their daughter of course but i want her to be like the "main" character if i do proper lore... her soon 2 be partner is a lone wolf they found but hes still a puppy atm bc packs usually only take in young wolves especially males. and cherrys brother is leaving to make his own pack (i am getting rid of him because he is ugly) ^-^

She stares at him over her glass, cherry pink lipstick staining the rim as she presses it to her lips and takes a slow sip of whatever cocktail he’d brought her. Her singular eye half lidded and watching him, it’s rather like a predator watching its prey and anyone watching might guess that she was about to reject him.

BUT then again, she’s all for surprises. Maybe if she surprises HIM, he’ll surprise HER.

So she sets the drink down on the grimy polished bar and slips from her stool. Fingers finding the tie around his neck as she steps into his space and gently leads him off SOMEWHERE.

I missed this weeks ghost game episode because my mind was preocupied with a lot of other stuff (and the digimon media that was on my mind was survive)

But since its a halloween episode and we’ve had one in the past, thats means they’ve had their digimon for over a year. Which man feels crazy.

While working on this piece last month, I happen to have screenied some WIPs and saved it, thinking of maybe posting the progression someday. I never have seen any WIP progression posts nowadays, so why not.

The background being the key feature of the piece took the most work, ntm most layers, as I have to divide the layers to three subgroups (which you may notice in the progression), detailing every layer to finishing before sealing it altogether into one background.

For the characters, I have to redo the lineart, using thinner brushes and lines in the inner details and omitting the outermost lines in some parts.
