Perhaps he seemed slightly out of place on that boat--a very tall and willowy young man dressed all in black from his boots to his slacks to his simple shirt beneath an opened silk changshan with very subtle swooping and rolling patterns like waves woven into the fabric that billowed softly in the ocean breeze along a few loose strands of his extremely long and straight hair of night which had braided in an intricate pattern, the occasional small bead of silver or white jade dotting the darkness like stars. A couple of tourists had already whispered that he must be one of those goth types, but that he was certainly strange...because who uses an umbrella on a perfectly clear day?

Yin, apparently.

Weird foreign tourists, man.

Not that he minded any of their comments. Being on the ocean at sunset? That was prime time for Yin and he enjoyed watching the marine life in the distance. Now, his presence on that boat had been no mere coincidence, oh no, there was another passenger on that boat that had been the subject of many whispers spoken to the shadows. And it was just that individual who Yin found himself standing near at the rail. Occasionally, he stole a silent glance but mostly said nothing, nothing that is until finally he glanced at the man's wrist and spoke with a quiet tone almost lost within the sound of the waves.
