What was Lysianias like with Alecto and Amycus? Did she know her step-cousins?
Oh, yes. They knew about each other. In their earlier years, there wasn’t much interaction between the three. If Lysianias had grown up with Lysistrata and Casimir the twins would’ve despised her (and yes, Alecto and Amycus are fraternal twins in this au).
If she had known them in childhood, Amycus and Alecto would torture Lysianias, but she would be just as merciless when trying to make their lives as miserable as possible. And let me tell you, Lysianias would always win, she is, after all, Casimir’s step-daughter. There is honestly no doubt in my mind that he taught her how to be ruthless, and maybe encouraged her sadistic behavior towards the next gen Carrow twins.
Casimir would’ve never been any prouder the day he found both Amycus and Alecto lying on the floor near-paralyzed after Lysianias had tortured them with the Cruciatus Curse. She’s probably the only one besides Lavinia that has ever genuinely made him smile.
In the original au, they meet at Hogwarts. Of course all three of them were in Slytherin so they were in close proximity of each other. I think Alecto and Amycus would be a few years above Lysianias, but I doubt it would interfere with the mutual disdain they shared for their little cousin.
It was an unspoken truth that she was the child Lysistrata had outside of her marriage with Casimir. Both twins had known for quite some time that they had familial ties with Lysianias. Their eyes would always be on her whenever walking past the young Yaxley girl in the halls, or any other common area they shared (which was a lot considering the fact they went to the same school as each other and were all in Slytherin).
Trust me when I say that Lysianias hated the Carrow twins just as much as they hated her. I don’t think that Lysianias went through her Hogwarts years without getting into at least one altercation with them. There may have been a few incidents where curses were subtly casted, or a few hexes were thrown… but if it was ever the Carrow twins who had come out of these incidents as victors then I assure you that Lysianias would get her revenge.
And that would not be a pretty sight to see…
Speaking of revenge! Lysianias kills Alecto in the Battle of Hogwarts 🤭 and well… Casimir was probably laughing up at them from Hell with nothing but amusement written across his face.

Although Victor certainly questioned the merit of opening the usually closed event that was the Summer Solstice Ball to the public, the decision had certainly led to its fair share of drama. Enough to keep him interested, to be sure. First, of course, there was the downfall of the Linwood girl. Victor was none too bothered by it, of course, considering their history and how irritating she and her sister were. It’d teach people like the Linwoods not to show up at events that weren’t intended for them.
However, what truly interested Victor from the night of the ball was not any social interaction or choice in outfit. What kept him up wondering late that night when he lay in his bed was the voice that had whispered, speaking directly to him. It should have given him pause, as it was a bit like an invasion. However, instead, it replayed in his mind as if on a loop. He’d never given much thought to corruption in the Ministry. Truthfully, he’d never cared much for politics one way or another. Victor hadn’t gotten much time to think about it at the actual event, considering how pretty much immediately after, all hell broke loose. Victor would much rather trade insults than hexes, and he did his level best to get the hell out of the fighting. He only hoped Amycus had done the same.
The next morning over coffee, he spotted his sister. The two of them rarely spoke of things that mattered in depth, so he settled for a simple, “Morning.” However, he was interested to hear her thoughts about how the night unfolded. That was, on the off chance she had any. He took a sip of his coffee, eyes scanning the Daily Prophet.
