Izuku had been training with Sero-kun to master Blackwhip, but there's only so much the other student could do to help him. And he needed to learn how to subconsciously use the Quirk quickly so that he didn't have to worry about it once the other Quirks inside One For All started manifesting.

"Aizawa-sensei, can you give me some advice on how you handle fight with your binding cloth?!"

Izuku flinched slightly as he could feel his body was wanting to give out on him from how hard he was pushing it. His body was visibly shaking from exhaustion. But Banjo -- the fifth wielder -- had told him that he needed to ‘control his heart’; after what happened with Monoma, and him losing control of his Quirk in that moment. And despite him telling All Might and Kacchan that he didn’t know the cause for it, the green haired teen actually somewhat knew what had caused it to happen.

It had been after Monoma had insulted Kacchan.

How was he supposed to control it? Kacchan had tried helping him to reactive One For All by putting him in dangerous situations. But that didn’t seem to work. And so Izuku wanted to see if he could redo the situation, by himself, if he just imagined what Monoma said. However, that was also not working. It was just making him tired instead.

Nothing he seemed to do could trigger that emotional state again.

How was he supposed to ‘control his heart’ if he didn’t even know the exact reason that caused him to lose control of it in the first place?!

All he knew was that it had something to do with Kacchan.

But why? After all these years. After him and Kacchan were finally rekindling the friendship that they once had.

Izuku sat at the couch in the common room and was writing things down in his hero analysis notebook. “Hmm..” he muttered to himself, “would Uraraka-san touching someone in space make them float further away from the surface faster or would they move at the same speed? Would they be harder to grab on to?”

Izuku hadn't realized how long he had been staring at Kacchan as he watched his childhood friend have a conversation with Kirishima-kun. Though, upon hearing the other's words, the green haired teen blinked a moment as he realized he had been smiling.

"Oh, um, sorry, Kacchan." Izuku rubbed the back of his bashfully, still smiling, "I was just thinking about how great it's been that you've started opening up more with our classmates and friends."

Izuku had been taking break from his own training, and watching his classmates instead, writing down notes in his Quirk notebook to update everyone's respective pages about their Quirks.

However, when he saw Todoroki-kun's training and the process that the dual Quirked user was making, the green haired teen couldn't help but smile as he watched. Though, he jumped a bit in shock when the other acknowledged him, surprise having replaced the smile for the moment.

"Oh, s--sorry, Todoroki-kun," Izuku apologized, a slight smile returning to his features as he rubbed the back of his head apologetically at his friend. "I, I was just recalling how far you've come with your Quirk since the Sports Festival that's all."

Izuku froze in place hearing what Kacchan said before his own features turned a bright shade of red as he brought his hands up to cover his face. So 69 was, in fact, something lewd -- the green haired teen knew it when his double mentioned that Kaminari-kun brought it up.

It had been awhile since he had last inured his bones. Izuku figured it was because his body was finally getting a grasp on One For All. That was until now -- when he was training, as he suddenly winched in pain.

As he sat on the ground the pain felt like he had stepped wrong and twisted his ankle. It wasn't a completely break -- he'd had enough of those to know what that felt like by now.

Izuku tensed up hearing the comment, before he mentally shook his head. "Secret? I'm hiding anything, Kirishima-kun." That was a lie. Though, he hoped that Kirishima couldn't tell that he was lying. It was late and Izuku was dressed in his usual shirt and shorts as he made his way toward the backdoor of the Class A dorm building to get a little practice in before he went to sleep. Even though his body was already exhausted from the training that day.

Though, as he opened the door, that was when he suddenly felt someone grab the back of his shirt collar -- followed by Kacchan's voice as he 'yelped' when pulled away from it. The door shutting once again as he was pulled away from it.

"Wah--cchan... I was just gonna go get some, ah, f--fresh air." He was lying. And he knew that Kacchan knew that it was a lie, but it was worth a shot right.

Katsuki had been talking training with the nerd up until he sensed that something was above them. He glanced up at the ceiling only to see mistletoe dangling there. He flushed before gesturing up with his chin. "Oi, nerd... look."

Izuku still couldn't believe that he and Kacchan could have 'normal' conversations with each other. Even if the current topic was about training. The green haired teen was feeling blessed by how much things have changed between him and childhood friend.

As he was rambling about what they could do next with training -- particularly when it came to working on him getting better with Blackwhip. In fact he was so much in thought while rambling that he hadn't noticed that Kacchan had looked up at the ceiling. That is until he heard the other's voice, telling him to look, "huh? why Ka--" Looking up above them, Izuku felt his face instantly pale before suddenly heating up.

Wait... was that always there?

How did they not notice it?!

....and now he was muttering about how long that mistletoe was hanging there.
