She had been on the phone with Corvo just now, but the second she head the door to the room open she’d quickly hung up so as to avoid any other Plumbers overhearing their conversation. This guy didn’t exactly look like a Plumber, but he could just be some newbie she hadn’t been informed of yet. Wouldn’t be the first time considering she never deals with any new recruits. Max doesn’t trust her enough with that.
