susano'o is just here to rest his head in vincenzo's lap. his friend smells nice and he's warm and the deity is just gonna doze off.

"Never ceases to amaze me that you are a feline-clan's deity. I can see the relations and comparisons to a T when you are like this, old friend." The bat didn't mind the weight in his lap, adjusting his yarn over their face so it wasn't to bother, it was a long piece so it could weave around their crown without messing the design up in his needles. Madara isn't one to accept thanks, especially when it comes to his family. He is alive because of them, he exists to make sure they strive forward, no matter the era. His ancestor's blood thrums through his veins, keeping him alive even in this decade. Regardless of this all, when his family was in danger, even if they could handle it, and Susano'o was no exception. So hearing the deity say that someone special to them wanted to give him thanks made Madara scowl, then wilt because how can he turn the deity down ? Huffing, he acquiesce simply on principal and standing infront of the blonde, a vampire ? How interesting. ❝ ━ No thanks is needed, Vincenzo-san. I promise, it's what I'm here for. He's family. ❞

He tips his chin up, scrutinizing the blond, gaze flickering between Susano'o then Vincenzo and back, ❝ ━ If you want to thank me, take care of Susano'o'dono. He's not fragile, but he deserves care as well, don't let him tell you different. I'd hate to see a decline in him, so take care of him. Whether you'll love him or not is beyond me, but I can smell you on one another. ❞ Blunt, yes, and Susano'o pinches the bridge of his nose. This child. ❝ ━ Things are getting a little chaotic, which means I'm needed back home. You're welcome to come for dinner, Vincenzo-san. ❞

When Susano'o spoke of his first born being so… different, it wasn't a lie. Vincenzo was humoured to the core at their bluntness. Their power wasn't hidden nor was it being broadcasted with intentions to cause fights. A presence to be held and respected within the space provided and still, Vincenzo could see Susano'o clearly within them. Their features were like a mirror image, a sight of wonder and adoration in the Vampire's gaze but his lashes did fall upon their claim of needing nothing in form of thanks and Vincenzo wasn't to trample it. "Thank you for kind words, Madara-sama…" He charmed with ease, though his gaze wasn't to be only filled with wholesome light and gentle pretence.

"I will do so without your ask, do not worry upon that soul being left alone.. Until time ends, I will be at his side always." He chuckled in delight and truth to his words but that wasn't the matter here. This was a mere exchange of two strong-willed beings in the room and Vincenzo's thanks wasn't to be dismissed yet. "I wish not to hold you for too long, Madara-sama however, please listen to my selfish request. The pair of you…" Vincenzo was gentle in reaching for his lovers cheek, rubbing it with his thumb before looking back to the Son in the room.

"I know I am outsider to your clan, and I do not mind that at all. I understand traditions and roles of the Eastern family is different to what I know but I wish not to be without some form of aid to it. Though I am of Vampiric origins, I am no different to hunters and violence from outsiders that wish harm upon my kind… I have allies and a city under the earth that holds thousands of my kind left from wars and conflicts at human and non-human hands… Tunnels all over the world that lead to it, unfounded for eons and as safe as the stars beyond the clouds." He wasn't lying, but he wasn't to propose something without the strength of two powerful minds and leaders of these people. "Nomadic, I understand - yet I still offer it anyway."

"Entry to the cavern undergrounds in terms of emergency. To hide away the new-born, children and elderly when time of war is too much for the masses." It wasn't nice to speak of ill will upon them but, it wasn't arrogance that kept the Uchiha alive but their smarts. "I will also provide a map for you, Madara-sama, I hear you have exceptional memory skills, thus, I will only show of it once for you… The entrances of all my city." As he spoke, he smiled upon the pair of them, though he was a man of beauty, talent on the human realm and a silent figure at Susano'o's side, he wasn't without power of his own. Tales that haven't been spoke in these lands and ones he didn't want to share as they hurt as well as inflated some things about his kind.

"I offer you another route of protection, when your Clan is unable to both protect and slaughter the enemy. My city beneath the Earth holds many species, so worry not of a vampiric overload, fufu… but I offer it all the same. Though this city is not of an army of war, I have many that once stood with sword, spear and axe upon the battlefields. Protectors of all they hold dear…" Vincenzo at that point, stood, adjusting his position to settle upon his knees and lower his head to the tatami mates before them both. "I offer an alliance, Madara-sama, Susano'o-dono… "

A chill evening but warm enough to warrant without blanket, Vincenzo was watching the clouds dance with the threat of rain near. A wholesome night, long filled with drink, dance and chatter. Ears no longer ringing from the live instruments but instead filled with the delight of watching the July festive of the Uchiha Clan preparing themselves. The tunes that twang across the rivers and trees were a dream within a dream. Authentic and beautiful but even so, longing for the Gods.

Even he could sense it within their strings, the cheers of their people, their felines and cubs free to run into the oni children and mixed beasts amongst their favoured family. Amusement tickled the Vampire, a jealousy - maybe, more so of a longing for his own children. Thousands of them in his lifetime, one of his truest blood lineage - long travelled and free for his own needs and wants. Thousands more, grown, some dead, some asleep, some so far he isn't sure any more… Family, coven - time and time again, power mixed them rotten.

His city below cities does thrive, at peace with powers to be. Understanding of once clashing races but now a utopia without sun.

Thoughts of home plagued his merriment, but it wasn't for long. As he felt them before he was touched - the soothing breeze of a storms grace. To be held and wrapped within a blanket worn. A shared warmth, a sturdy foundation to allow his worries and emotions to settle into the present time. The here and now. "Caro." A name resigned for the privacy of their own selves. "Your people await your arrival… How beautiful it all is." Vincenzo spoke with praise and truth, though he wished one day he'll get such a thing with his own family, he was a species that could wait for that day. For now, he turned his attention inward, reaching to cover Susano'o's hand upon his chest and held in place. Resting well against them and resting. "Shall we make an appearance soon enough, love?"

"You needn't my word to validate your decisions, Susano." It was a hard sight to witness, but he understood that being the pinnacle of a family meant tasks that even the Gods could shed tears over. So, the vampire moved with his palms open and warm - to rest upon Sano's cheeks and guide his best friend to his chest to hold. "You needn't validate your rules to abolish your guilt. You did the right thing by your people... by your heart, by your mind." His lips press to the back of his friend's head. Arms flowing to embrace them as they shared the thunderous night in the dark.

Susano'o presses his cheek against Vincenzo's shoulder, a pleasant hum escaping him. It's been a quiet day, and he just woke up from a nap, thunder rumbling gently but he was in a good mood," Have any new tea blends for me to try?"

"Mornin' dove." He hums in delight, the warmth they provided even with the smell of thunder in the skies was a calming one. "Only peppermint this eve." He wasn't experimenting with teas much at the moment but he was fond of the minty selections he's come across recently. "Like a cup?"
