“i nearly ran into the door this time.” liv’s ashamed of herself. a goddess in her own right and yet she’s afraid to even be in the same room as the mortal boy that she likes. even staring death in the face holds less terror than the mere idea of talking to him. “this is so stupid. he’s just a guy, right?” the increase in talking speed starts, a trait she seems to have picked up by the blonde to whom she speaks. “i’ve been to valhalla. i used to play hide and go seek with loki. i literally died once!” okay, now she’s giving herself a pep talk. “i can do this! i can talk to peter! i can do it.” the asgardian puffs out her chest, marching towards the door in order to open it. but, the moment her hand makes contact, her sudden rush of courage evaporates into thin air. “change of plan. nope. not happening.” this is when she joins caroline’s side, elbows being placed on the table before her chin falls into her hands. “am i pathetic?”

“you really planning on staying there all day, huh?” she’s leaning against the doorframe, eyes locked on keanu, trying her hardest (and failing, honestly) to hide the little smile on her face. “i’d love to join you but it looks like i need to go to work.” another day with people asking her if she’s lost, more like. she’s older now than she was when she first came to midgard but, sadly, she still looks the same. at least he treats her like the adult she is. “though... i could be convinced to skip it for the right person.”

"mom!” it’s been nearly two months since her mother had to go. something about the past catching up to her and the need to keep liv safe from it... oh, it doesn’t even matter to the teen anymore. all that matters is that she’s back and in one piece. in this life, they’ve only really got each other. whoever liv had before she met nat, they’re long gone. no one ever did come looking for her. “don’t leave me again. i get so worried.” arms are quickly wrapped around the woman, clinging to her for dear life. the mere idea of her mother not coming back one day... it’s too much. nope. she can’t, she won’t! liv won’t even consider the idea. she always comes home.
