❝how the hell d'you think you’re gonna do any better than me?  they’re a matriarchal people!❞  but there was no point in arguing.  han shot lando a glare before he retreated to cover his flank.  the situation stood grave enough as it was, no use in him mucking it up even more, when everyone could still see them.  han stepped back with a sniff, aiming for casual, and missed the target by a couple visvias.  he tried not to choke on the abrupt surge of trepidation.  ❝if i die here, im gonna haunt your ass, lando...❞  han then puffed his chest and stood straight, both hands positioned behind his back, taking a mental note of the distance between them.  too far, and the gap would look suspicious; too close, and, well ...  alright.  close enough that if anything were to happen, he could, at least, tackle lando down to the floor, save him from any immediate danger, because gods, this was dangerous.  how in the sith hells could this exchange have gone so bad?
