I don't know anything about Prince Richard, so I wrote this based on the wiki article and the fact that apparently he has frogs living in his garden! I'm sure it's ooc, but I hope you enjoy!

Why did he ever agree to this? It had already been two days of walking with Richard, who fancied himself a hero, and it would be at least two days more. He’d just wanted to go home, but no, his good heart had won him over when Richard had asked for an escort to the castle. Link had just come from the castle. And now he was already going back. “And that’s how I defeated the monster and saved Lady Muriel!” “Uh-huh.” Link had tuned out the story. It wasn’t hard, considering the sound of croaking frogs all around them. There had to be dozens of them. There was no escaping them. “Richard?” “Yes, Link?” “There were no frogs on the path yesterday.” Richard paused as a frog hopped across the path in front of them. It stopped, and it’s throat inflated as it let out a loud ribbet! Then hopped to the opposite side. Richard continued walking as if this was a normal occurrence. “I suppose it’s mating season. That time of year, right?” It wasn’t. Link didn’t press, however. When it came to Richard, some things were best left alone. He’d be unbearable otherwise.
