𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐆𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐁𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐖𝐇𝐎 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐒 , 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐖𝐇𝐎 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐒. Though with the caliber of the party being held at the massive lodge , it was obvious they were going to have to dip into the list of heroes in the area to add to the guest list. Turned out heroes loved to party and many jumped at the opportunity to attend the massive celebration.

Dressed to the nines , as were most people , the birthday girl weaved through the group of people before happening on Peter , standing by the food tables , and a mischievous smile graced her features.

❝ Guess who! ❞ She challenged , stepping up behind him and covering his eyes with her hands.

“This was going to be a surprise, but I just couldn’t wait until your birthday,” Peter said excitedly, holding out a small, wrapped package.

��𝐍𝐘𝐀 𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍'𝐓 𝐔𝐒𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐒 , as a matter of fact . . . she actually hated them. But she was learning to trust people a little more , and so far Peter had proven to be trust worthy. Not to mentioned this was just a birthday gift. A perfectly normal thing to get from a friend when it was your birthday coming up.

Looking at the packaged , she smiled ( though a little bit awkwardly ) and looked up at Peter with a curious look. ❝ What is it? ❞ There might have been a slightly nervous tone to her voice.
