It might seem odd that I chose Cami as an underappreciated character, but for me it’s always seemed like she is one? So many people had such a negative reaction to her that they never really gave her a chance. There are so many amazing things about Cami. She was brave, strong, loyal, intelligent, snarky. And the list goes on really. There was so much potential with this character and I think the writers really let the ball drop with the way things ended for her. I also think people should have been a bit more open minded about the character in question instead of disliking her right off the bat, which so many did. Camille O’Connell was so much more than a simple love interest, but that’s what they wound up boiling her down to in the end. She’s amazing though - fierce and she had so many strong relationships and touched so many people. 

She was one of the ONLY people Hayley and Klaus both trusted with Hope. And that MEANS something. Because the only people they ever trusted with her was family and not even the entire family. Just Rebekah, Elijah and Freya. But Cami was family to them - Klaus trusted her with the two most important people in his life. Hope and Elijah and for a character with sever trust issues that means something and I will forever think she was an underappreciated element of TO. And should always have more love and there just aren’t enough Cami muses out there. 

BUT the ones that do grace us with their presence on Tumblr are amazing and kind and do such justice to her character that it makes my heart just such a happy place. So today is for Cami. Just know Hayley and I both love Camille O’Connell always and forever.

Honestly, there are so many blogs that deserve buckets of recognition and appreciation and while I’ve been doing my best to name a bunch of people for each category, because everyone deserves some love, today I’m dedicating this post to one person. 

This person, she’s kind you know? Like genuinely kind. And I know sometimes she worries about a lot of things and there’s a certain level of anxiety, which I’m sure we all have too. She’s not alone though and I think it’s important that she knows that. That people see all the really great things she does in the RP community and recognizes it. Sometimes it’s hard to find the right words to reach out to people, whether it be to RP or just to say hey, I think you’re a pretty awesome individual and it’s cool that we know each other. And so having a day like this - having a whole two weeks of positivity is such a big deal. Because it’s unprompted and it’s a way to let people know you care without making them uncomfortable or without putting pressure on anyone. She RPs with so many of us here - and she’s open to plotting and she’s hella funny and opinionated and her OOC posts sometimes really make my day. She knows the oddest facts and it’s adorable like legitimately adorable and I don’t really think there’s one person across the RP fandom’s here who could even say a bad thing about this person because she’s just - she tries so hard and she’s open and kind and honest and  just really always trying to make other’s comfortable. In fact we have this great positivty outlet because of her. So today is for Lia @seesgood who is very much in fact like her muse in regards of having a really big fucking heart and caring about others around her.
