someone... or everyone :) should 100% write fucked up complicated relationships with me for petra. like.. while she’s definitely not someone who is ill-willed at heart, and she is not an inherently bad person... petra is also more complicated than i get to write her. she’s a survivor. she’s a fighter. push comes to shove, the possibility of her hurting someone she loves to protect herself and her girls is very real. petra would lie for a whole number of reasons, she doesn’t know how to fully give her trust to someone else, doesn’t know how to fully let someone into her life, she self-sabotages, she has insecurities, and a lot of trauma that she hasn’t quite worked through. petra is soft beneath her hard exterior, but she’s also still hard beyond that softness and i . .  really really want to delve into all of that.

( i ) engage-y and/or marriage-y things with me like proposals ! planning weddings ! little disagreements ! hitting rough patches ! getting through it together ! or not being able to ! having struggles and overcoming them ! deciding whether or not to have children ! not having enough time for each other ! working to make time for each other !

( ii ) bff 5ever like, let petra awkwardly ask you out on platonic dates ! go to yoga classes with her ! throw her birthday parties ! let her throw you one ! celebrate things with her ! cry with her ! let her awkwardly attempt to comfort you ! let her be sad about things ! or vent ! go to the spa with her ! go shopping with her ! be her brogelio ! have some fights with her because she’s being difficult !

( iii ) mom friends ( or dad friends idc ) because playdates ! sharing baby tips ! being stressed together ! being proud parents ! trying to work things out when the kids fight ! asking each other to babysit ! and idk wat else , getting ice cream with the kids out wat else do people do [sharpay voice]: i want it all

( iv ) divorce-y things because i love exes plots but idk i just like petra and more marriage-y related things in general 

( v ) let petra be your muse’s mom figure because she will protect you with everything that she has. or ORRR let your muse be petra’s mom figure. or dad figure. i would die for her to have some parental figures in her life like.. please who do i sell my soul to for this.

season one au ; instead of michael, jane and petra are dating when jane gets artificially inseminated, and we can just plot out how they met and stuff season one au ; after jane gets artificially inseminated, she meets with petra like in canon bc she wants to get to know who she’s giving the baby to, they fall in love etc etc. oieurt poor raf omg season one au ; petra is being blackmailed and the prenup has a child-clause so she tries to get artificially inseminated after raf’s death, but jane gets inseminated instead ( taken by allison ) season two au ; single af new mom jane and single af new mom petra become unlikely mom friends etc etc and fall in love and raise babies ( taken by tiff ) season three au ; jetra fall in love post michael’s death / overlap with poly af plot ish so i’m putting it here ( taken by laurel )

RAFAEL

pre-series au ; she didn’t miscarry, their baby boy was born and… idk maybe he still gets sick and stuff, this could legit go so many ways season one au ; luisa artificially inseminates petra and not jane, she gets pregnant and.. this could also go many ways season three au ; petra and rafael are dating again and trouble still ensues minus the love triangle stuff

MICHAEL

season one au ; michael and petra spend a ton of time together bc of investigations and stuff and end up bonding over their jafael heartbreak and stuff season one au ; after getting kidnapped by roman zazo, michael is the only one who is there for her coughbyemagdacough ( taken by dana )

LUISA

pre-series au ; petra still becomes a solano, except it’s luisa and not raf that she meets and falls in love with and marries ( taken by tina ) season three au ; raf is out, luisa is in, petra and luisa run the marbella together and other awesome stuff ( taken by jess )
