“What do you mean we have to have another group member?” is what Chan had asked the management that morning, hours before he came to see a certain person. “I don't know why you claim it's that difficult for you to find someone else '' is what he heard in return. angry at the fact that the company was so cool about adding a new member into the group, he went to find solace somewhere where he knew he'd always be welcome.

Thea opened the door after hearing the soft ringtone of her doorbell. Although she was not that alarmed to find someone outside, she was surprised to see him. “chris? What are you doing here at the crack of dawn?? it's like 3am.. why are you still awake and about?” she asked him as she moved a little to let the man enter her apartment. “I could ask you the same thing, Isa… why are you still awake?” chuckling, Chan replies to her and drops off his bag and laptop on the girl's coffee table and plops down on her couch. “you know what? good question and I won't be answering that” she answers and heads to grab him some water.

the man watches her, anxious. with her back turned to him, she mumbles “you look nervous. what's the matter?” embarrassed that he got caught, he sheepishly rubs his hands on the back of his neck and chuckles “of course you know when I'm feeling nervous “. giving him the water and sitting across from him, she nods, urging him to spill whatever that was bugging him.

“You know how we just.. uhm.. we're just an eight member group now?” she nods. “The company wants us to find a new member…” he confesses. she looks surprised for a second but recomposes herself. “I mean I'm not totally surprised.. it's jyp entertainment, what do you expect?” she chuckles but stops when she realizes he's not chuckling with her. “So what have you planned now?” she asks him, leaning close with her elbows on her knees.

“I came to ask you a favor…” he drags out and she immediately knows. She knows what he wants to ask her and she shakes her head and stands up. “christopher….” he stands up with her, almost pleading. “Isa please.. you're the best match for us.. you fit in perfectly with us… please Isa.. please…” he says almost begging her to join them. she shakes her head. “I can't just come and join somewhere i'm not wanted chris. the boys didn't want me in the group, you didn't want me in the group in the beginning.. and now that you want a replacement, you come here asking me to do it.. and I can't i’m sorry…” she tells him.

He aggressively shakes his head “Isa I never wanted to leave you behind. I promise… those happened because of how the company wanted it to happen. I swear I didn't want to leave you behind.” “But you didn't even fight for me christopher!” she shouts at him "i did!! I did fight for you Bella I promise! I did whatever I could'' she hears him say as she sits down on the couch. He kneels down next to her slowly and takes her hands into his. “we need you Isa.. please.. think about it.. I'm not asking you to give me the answer today or tomorrow… think about it for me.. please?” he whispers to her and gets up to get his things to leave. she sighs and gets up to bid him bye. as soon as she closes the door, she lets out a deep sigh she was holding on.

She shakes her head and heads to bed after seeing the time on her nightstand and realizing how late it was. The next morning is no different than her usual routine. except the fact that she woke up to three missed calls from the company. she dials back after she finishes getting ready for the day. “Hello?” she asks. “Thea! How are you? it's been so long!” she hears jyp, the man himself reply back. After catching up for a few minutes, he got straight to the point. “I assume Chan had told you what was going on?” she sighed for the first time that morning before answering. “Yeah.. he did” she heard a small chuckle on the other line “do you wanna discuss it over call or do you want it to be a face to face conversation? I’m fine with either yejin-ah” he told her.

Agreeing that it was best to talk in person about this, she left for the company after ending the call with him. It took her about thirty minutes in traffic for her to reach and when she got there, she greeted everyone as usual before she made her way to the door that said ‘park jinyoung- CCO/Founder’ and then she knocked and waited for it to open. Once it did, it revealed the man himself. “Thea! come in, come in! Make yourself comfortable. Should I call for Chan or shall we talk first before we call him?” he asked her as she sat on the chair next to her. “We’ll talk first if that’s okay with you.” he nodded and he took a seat in his chair across from her. “So, what do you say?” he asks her. She takes a few seconds to answer him.

And when she finally does, her answer surprises him. “I’ll do it.” he looks up at her in surprise so she repeats her words. “I’ll do it. I’ll join the group.” he smiles at her and nods. “That’s good. Are you sure? I assume Chan spoke to you just yesterday. I was gonna ask you if you needed some time to think but you answered so soon.” he asks her. She nods back and replies “I thought about it all night. I won't give you an exact explanation on why I said yes but please do know that this is not an impulsive decision and that I've thought about it very thoroughly.” she tells him very firmly.

He looks happy with her response and smiles at her. “Very well. I don't doubt you for it because I know you. I know that you won't do anything without going over it a million times. Now, since we as a company troubled you with this, I'll give you the power to choose something important. As you are aware, your trainee contract is expiring soon and the fact that you need a new one to debut, i’ll let you decide how long you want that to be. The boys are all signed for the usual period of seven years but since it’s been about a year since they debuted, now it's on for six more years. It’s your choice on the duration of your contract” he says.

Thea nods relieved of that choice she has. She thinks for a few minutes and does the math in her head. After about ten minutes, she opens her mouth to reply. “I need to have two contracts, am I correct? One for myself as an artist and one as a group member.” She asks him to confirm the facts one more time before giving him an answer. “Yes. That is how things work.” he tells her as he anticipates her answer. “I’ll sign the same as the boys for the group contract. But for the individual one, I'll sign for three years for now. I’ll renew if needed after that.” she answers him confidently as she looks at him. He nods understandingly. “Very well. I’ll tell the manager of the group to give you the contracts for you to sign later in the afternoon. For now I'll inform the board about the changes and you can go train with them for their upcoming comeback. We can discuss if you want to join in for this comeback or the next later” he says to her and leads her outside his room.

Thanking him, she makes her way through the hallways and soon enough she finds herself outside of a particular door. Even before she can knock, the door opens and she’s face to face with the man who visited her last night. “Bella? W-what are you doing here?” he asks her, rubbing his eyes to see clearly. She looks at him and crosses her arms across her chest. “Did you pull an all-nighter?” she asks him, narrowing her eyes. He rubs his nape in embarrassment and chuckles. “I didn't! I slept!” she looks at him as if asking him if he was seriously lying to her. He finally chuckled and accepted that he did not sleep and hence cued the scolding from her.

Even though he was the older one, she was always the one who nagged him a lot. He did find it endearing so he never complained. After explaining the whole situation to her future leader, he hugged and thanked her for doing such a thing for him. And when she got home after all the meetings with the board and with the members and discussing all the matters involving her debut, it was already eleven in the night. Exhausted from the day, she plopped down on her bed after her night routine and thought of the next day’s schedule. She had to pack her stuff to move into the stray kids dorm.

It was very weird for her to call herself a member of stray kids now. It felt surreal for her. It was only yesterday she was a trainee, now she’s an official member of the said band. She knew that if the news went public in a few days, the majority of the response would be negative and she was ready to accept that. The hate comments are not new to her but it does not hurt less every time but she’s grown used to it than before. She's a lot braver than she used to be and she’s ready to face anything for her dream.

It's only a few months after debuting, she realizes that she’s finally found the people that she can call her home and she has finally found the thing she’s been yearning for.

she was originally not close with her siblings and lived with her grandparents but when her mother passed away she got close to her siblings.

her life has now been revolving around her siblings. Her older brother has stayed out of the spotlight but is quite famous among stays! Her younger brother has now debuted as a kpop idol. her sister has also debuted in a kpop group. now the siblings are called "the idol siblings"

Thea had to sit out for two comebacks when her grandmother passed away. Mainly since she's the one who practically raised thea, her death hit her hard and she spent her hiatus spending time with her grandfather who sadly too passed away in 2022. She did sit out of a few weeks but when she returned, her usual cheerfulness was noticeably absent.

her favorite pass time is annoying the living shit out of her friends. She's great friends with soloist ivy and the two are seen hanging out almost every weekend! She's also really close to oceana's blaire, soloist serein, and many others!

almost nobody would believe that she's an introvert as she has many friends. She's talked about by any and every artist out there.

Out of everybody from skz, she would say she's the closest to minho... she often tags along with him on his journey home just to see sooni doongi dori.. his mother has claimed thea as her own daughter now.

JYP ANNOUNCES STRAYKIDS TO RETURN WITH A NEW FEMALE MEMBER THEA !!

JYP Entertainment's boy group Stray Kids will be returning as a nine-member group after the departure of a former member.

JYP released an introduction video to their official Youtube channel to welcome the newest member of the group, Thea. Thea, 20 in Korean age, has been with the agency since 2012. She is known to be thoroughly talented in dancing, singing and rapping. This is JYP Entertainment's first co-ed group, the first in the industry for some time.

Straykids, which formerly consisted of eight members after the departure of former member woojin due to personal reasons, Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, I.N, will be having their official comeback as a nine-member unit on December 9th with their fifth mini album "Clé: Levanter".

The album was set to be released on November 25, 2019, but it was delayed due to Woojin's departure from the group on October 27.

The album will be released on December 9, 2019, after being re-recorded with new member Thea.
