Chris’ voice is loud, very loud. Her face is contorted in anger, and she has tears in her eyes. Her thoughts on Finé? She didn’t care about her. At all. Finé had discarded her once she failed to bring back Hibiki. And it had been Chris who had killed Finé, her tormenter. The person who had put her through hell and made her hate singing.

“I hate her so much! My life is in fuckin’ shambles because of her! My body locks up at the most fuckin’ inconvenient times, an’ I’m left at the mercy of all the people around me! She destroyed me! She electrocuted me! She put me through HELL with no remorse! I WAS FOURTEEN YEARS OLD WHEN SHE STARTED DOING THIS! What kinda monster decides to put a child through all that hell?!”

Chris punches the wall beside her, the tears flowing unbidden. Forced to tell the truth, forced to show her secrets.

“I’m fuckin’ glad she’s dead! She never did anything good while she was alive! I hate her so much I could scream! NOW GET OUT OF MY HOUSE BEFORE I CALL THE POLICE!”

“Of course I-” She has to tell the truth, so she cuts off as she tries to deny it. Frustrated with the fact she actually has to say something aloud like this, the girl’s face turns a bright shade of red as she tries to find a way around the obvious answer.

And she can’t.

It’s frustrating.
