      SLEEP DOES NOT TAKE HER, no matter how they try to close their eyes && fall into the realm of dreams, it is a fruitless endeavour. && yet she does not expect a little visitor, still does she greet her with patience && kindness as the girl crawls into her bed, akin to the memory of her brother sneaking close to find comfort in more dire times in their youth — how fond she is of those familial bonds, strongly caring is she since a young age, protective && motherly in the absence of the real thing. to her, the girl is just that : a child, despite the title she carries, she is her && she has her own agency && emotions && fears ( an unmoving stance she takes in view of the oracle ).

      arms encircle her, much as a mother would to soothe her child — pulling her tight && covering her gently. it isn't a motion she needs to be asked for, capturing her in gentle, careful comfort. they are ever && violently aware && familiar with the weight that can be so heavily stacked upon small shoulders — a bleeding heart for those who are their title before a person.

      ❝ can you not sleep, little one ? you need not worry of the world outside of this room while you are here, i'll keep it all far from you so you may rest. or if you are needing of an ear to listen, i do have two very fluffy ears available. ❞ soft chuckle leaves the dancer, ears wiggling as she gives the girl a smile.

❥ @ichoric feat. ryne : ryne's sitting on isu's bed, evidently waiting for them, amidst a huge tray of fresh baked cookies and a few lotions and perfumes placed in a basket she figured they may enjoy. ' i've never celebrated a day like this before but i was... a little excited about it. happy mum day ! '

      IT IS A DAY that generally leaves them in a state of melancholy — memories both good && sad mixing amongst their mind as she gains the reminder that she's still not found her mother. yet, never did she think she would be the receiver of this celebration, even for how motherly she tended to be with others. a bright smile tugs upon their lips, mismatched gaze lighting up as they glance upon what ryne has brought them — such a lovely gift, unsure how to quite make it up to the girl.

      ❝ this is all for me ? ryne, this is so lovely, i'm speechless. i thank you greatly. ❞ the dancer sits next to the girl, reaching to gently pat her head && brush her hair back, giving her a softened smile. ❝ i adore your excitement, you know, always let it shine just as brightly as you. && if you would like, we can spend the day together, i think i would quite enjoy that. ❞

      ARMS WRAP AROUND THE GIRL, a hug only a mother could truly bestow upon her daughter — sundered or no, she sees a fractured version of her, harmonia's soul shining so brightly through her that she cannot ignore it nor file her away amongst the shades of the first they call real. no, no, these are not people && yet harmonia is real, kostas is real. there is a genuine expression of her pain, her loss of her daughter for so long writ across her face so clearly as she moves away to look at the girl.

      MISMATCHED EYES CAST upon the girl as their name is shouted through the air, watching as she carries the bright confection their way. soft smile is given in greeting && toward the endearing display, hands carefully taking the plate as they inspect the adorable cupcake.

      ❝ this is lovely, ryne, && i should like to bet it tastes even more lovely. i appreciate the wonderful gift && if you shall be celebrating valentione's with us, then surely a return gift is in order, hmm ? ❞

      they reach a hand into the satchel at their hip, pulling out a choker adorned with hand-tended flowers from their own garden, crafted by their own hands, to offer to the girl before them.

yes yes yes !! i'm so weak for familial relationships okay both j'isu n aphrodite are the mum friend fr so she just honestly adopts the twins in her mind since she first met them n ryne TOO she's so protective of her n feels for her a lot. she has such a huge soft spot for these three honestly ?? she would protect them to her death but she wants them to thrive n grow n learn to be themselves n watching them all do that makes her so PROUD ?? she'd be there for them through everything, if any of them need advice she'll be there, when they need encouragement she'll be there n when they need a listening ear, well she has two n they listen very well !! n she really does just see herself a lot in both the twins honestly, so they're very dear to her. she takes family intensely serious, so they all would have someone that takes care of them but doesn't stifle them in their growth n being their own independent people since she knows thats important
