Oh gee-- Henry warned him they may have spirits about and to be not afraid. But William had never seen a creechur with an eye like that before! Just staring from the end of the hall... what do! [ for Xerox from Diner!William, yes based off that one screenshot ]
𝚃𝙷𝙴𝚈 𝙰𝚁𝙴 𝙽𝙾𝚃 𝚀𝚄𝙸𝚃𝙴 𝙵𝙰𝙼𝙸𝙻𝙸𝙰𝚁 𝚆𝙸𝚃𝙷 𝚃𝙷𝙸𝚂 𝚆𝙾𝚁𝙻𝙳 -- and yet they've walked it not too long ago! Or maybe it would be a very long time since they would have walked it, in another world...? of course that was all completely beyond the little shade. they were here for a very different reason. it was supposed to be a quick mission, in and out. find the lost soul and guide them. [ SAVE THEM! ] Give them their happiest day.
𝙰𝙽𝙳 𝚃𝙷𝙴𝚈 𝙳𝙸𝙳! ( sort of! )
𝙱𝚄𝚃, 𝚆𝙴𝙻𝙻 ... 𝚃𝙷𝙴𝙽 𝚃𝙷𝙴𝚈 𝙶𝙾𝚃 𝙳𝙸𝚂𝚃𝚁𝙰𝙲𝚃𝙴𝙳 𝙸𝚂 𝙰𝙻𝙻! ... surely a few more moments in this time and space would not hurt anyone! surely a bit more wandering could not be of any harm. and how would Fredbear know they did not perhaps need longer to do what must be done!
𝙲𝚄𝚁𝙸𝙾𝚂𝙸𝚃𝚈 𝚂𝚃𝚁𝙸𝙺𝙴𝚂 -- 𝙺𝙸𝙻𝙻𝚂 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙲𝙰𝚃! ( remember: satisfaction brought it back! ) ... and they've been spotted as they stare wide eyed down the corridor. they've been made aware of how they look, how ... unnerving. ( but they forget! they don't mean to! they won't for much longer. )
𝙰𝙽𝙳 𝙷𝙴 𝚆𝙰𝚂 𝙳𝙸𝙵𝙵𝙴𝚁𝙴𝙽𝚃 𝚃𝙾𝙾! ( like them! ) maybe that's what made them pause, or maybe they were struck by all the pretty lights -- how nice they made him look! ( they wish they were nice to look at like him )
ah, but right, they've been spotted by now. and they rush forward with reckless abandon, unaware of how terrifying it may be for him. darting up and then stopping on a dime as they float with their face inches from his and a wide grin on it. ( don't worry, they'll back away soon! )
❛ 𝙸𝚃 𝙸𝚂 𝚈𝙾𝚄 ! 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙾𝙽𝙴 𝚆𝙷𝙾 𝙼𝙰𝙳𝙴 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙻𝙸𝚃𝚃𝙻𝙴 𝙾𝙽𝙴 𝙻𝙰𝚄𝙶𝙷 ! ❜
𝚈𝙴𝚂, 𝚃𝙷𝙰𝚃'𝚂 𝚁𝙸𝙶𝙷𝚃! That's why his voice sounded so familiar! The one in the bunny costume! Helped the child find 𝙹𝙾𝚈 again, to make it to their happiest day.

Look who has ANOTHER present for her favourite shade! IT's not much but she offers them a chocolatey cuppy cake WITH sprinkles. It has a candle on it too - already lit! "Happy Unbirthday, Xerox!" She smiles.
Maybe they don't know their real birthday, but! This is the next best thing, right?
𝙶𝙻𝙴𝙴𝙵𝚄𝙻 𝚆𝙰𝚁𝙱𝙻𝙸𝙽𝙶 𝙴𝙲𝙷𝙾𝚂! ... Hands clasped together excitedly as they jitter and seem to quite literally buzz with joy. A little chocolatey cuppy cake, and it's for THEM! Not that they were ungrateful for the leftovers at all the Fazbear ( & Fazbender ) locations. But to have one of their own? Now that was quite special indeed, especially given they hadn't exactly managed to wrangle an answer from their other half about when their actual birthday was.
𝙱𝚄𝚃 𝙽𝙾𝙽𝙴 𝙾𝙵 𝚃𝙷𝙰𝚃 𝙼𝙰𝚃𝚃𝙴𝚁𝙴𝙳 𝙽𝙾𝚆! ... None of it mattered because today was their UnBirthday! ( they're not sure what that is but it had birthday in it, so it had to be good! ) And they were getting a cuppy-cake.
❛ Miss Martha! How kind, you did not have to do that for me! -- Thank you! This has got to be my very best UnBirthday ever! ❜
𝚈𝙴𝚂 𝙸𝚃 𝚆𝙰𝚂 𝚃𝙷𝙴𝙸𝚁 𝙾𝙽𝙻𝚈 𝙾𝙽𝙴. But that fact remained true! They know what to do, seen it enough times at enough parties. They ponder their wish, before blowing out the candle cautiously and clapping.
❛ I made a very good wish! Very good one, yes, but I cannot tell you because I really want it to come true! ❜
𝚃𝙷𝙴𝙸𝚁 𝚆𝙸𝚂𝙷? ... Well, it was for Martha to be happy, of course! If wishes could come true, they wanted to use all of theirs for all the people who deserved them! And there was no one who deserved peace and joy more than her!

" Xerox, maybe this is a little silly but... well, if spirits result in a drop in temperature or a sudden chill, I couldn't help wondering if you're always cold!" Okay, maybe she didn't need an excuse but... well, Martha offers the scarf anyway! It's a bright magenta knit. "Either way, I hope this warms you -- whether literally or figeratively."
𝙰𝙽𝙳 𝚆𝙷𝙰𝚃 𝚆𝙰𝚂 𝚃𝙷𝙸𝚂 ! A gift, a gift for the weary specter! They can't help the way their pupil is blown wide like a cat seeing something of immense interest. A grin splits across their face in the form of teeth, seemingly forgetting to hide them in their moment of excitement.
❛ 𝙾𝙷 𝙼𝚈 ! ❜
Now normally, they aren't a fan of pink. But something about the fact that she made it, makes the color irrelevant! They love it, they love it so much their giddy little laugh glitches and garbles a bit more as they gently take the scarf and immediately put it on. Nuzzling their face against the fabric they chirp enthusiastically.

‘ thanks for the advice. ’ -- for Xerox let's go bby
𝙿𝚁𝙾𝙼𝙿𝚃. ( accepting. )
❛ 𝙾𝙷 ! ... ❜ well, that was new!
it wasn’t often they were thanked for their advice or any help. certainly it was their job to protect the innocent, and they would do so no matter what! but, it did feel nice, to be acknowledged. to be helpful. to be 𝚂𝙴𝙴𝙽 rather than looked through. for a faint moment something familiar glints in their eyes and the odd little smile grows into a full blown grin.
... 𝚃𝙷𝙴𝚈 𝙷𝙾𝙿𝙴 𝚃𝙷𝙸𝚂 𝙸𝚂𝙽’𝚃 𝙰𝙽𝙾𝚃𝙷𝙴𝚁 𝙹𝙾𝙺𝙴 𝙰𝚃 𝚃𝙷𝙴𝙸𝚁 𝙴𝚇𝙿𝙴𝙽𝚂𝙴.
it’s been so long that, admittedly, they had forgotten how to snark with the best of them. but he certainly seems genuine. perhaps it had been a long time since he’s had someone’s company as well.
❛ 𝙰𝙷 ... it’s no problem. I can also boost you in battle anytime you need it! ❜
better to end the interaction now before they unsettle him. after all, it wasn’t lost on them how inhuman and unpleasant they were to look at. without another word they fall to their silent monitoring of the area.

(voidedjoy) ‘ don’t get blood on my floor. ’ - for Sera <3
@voidedjoy
All he gets at first is a humored little huff, and it's . . . surprisingly lighthearted. They suppose there's always bound to be similarities in variants, but the amount of times she's heard her own nag her relentlessly . . .
"Xerox, you're getting blood all over the floors!"
"-- Ugh, Xerox you've gotten blood on my favorite vest."
"-- Xerox, the carpets! --"
Of course, there was the one time he didn't nag her . . .
She had gotten fairly good, in her own defense, at keeping him completely gore free when she worked. Even when he remained in the same room! Oh but he'd get in a huff over the smallest speck of splatter here or there. So to hear him here, now, with such a familiar order. It was . . . familiar. Shaking her head she continues.
❛ O ye of little faith... ❜ She begins, grin ever present. ❛ You have nothing to worry about, I assure you. ❜
Best to leave the rest up to speculation, being distracted so foolishly by sentimentality was a sure-fire way to be killed.

𝚝𝚑𝚊 𝚝𝚊𝚙𝚎. 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚢 𝚔𝚗𝚘𝚠 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚝𝚊𝚙𝚎. it’s an old one, one of note. the day they assisted him, manifested from the void and appeared. yes, they remember it well -- in spite of how the audio clips. or rather, how it was about to start clipping at a certain portion.
𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚢 𝚌𝚊𝚗 𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚛 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚒𝚛 𝚟𝚘𝚒𝚌𝚎 𝚘𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚝𝚊𝚙𝚎 ... ‘ 𝙷𝙴𝙻𝙻𝙾 𝙴𝚅𝙴𝚁𝚈𝙾𝙽𝙴, 𝙸𝚃 𝚂𝚄𝚁𝙴 𝙸𝚂 𝙽𝙸𝙲𝙴 𝚃𝙾 𝙱𝙴 𝙷𝙴𝚁𝙴 𝚃𝙾𝙳𝙰𝚈. ’ -- how did those dolts buy that bit anyways? where xerox feigned being some lost and completely random soul for the sake of it. was in no way risking there to be a technicality or snag for him to get what he rightfully deserved. ‘ 𝙸 𝙰𝙼-𝙼-𝙼-𝙼-- ’ 𝚊𝚑, 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚒𝚝 𝚒𝚜.
when they first listened to it back, they’d assumed it was the temporal rift they caused when exiting the void. what they couldn’t understand was why he was listening to it 𝙽𝙾𝚆 .
he’d been acting 𝙾𝙵𝙵 for a while now, though they couldn’t be sure why. at first, they’d have assumed he was simply feeling a bit burnt out. their work was very exhausting after all. but now ... what has overcome him to push him to act with such 𝚜𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚝𝚢?
pulling themselves from the shadows, they finally make themselves known. normally, should they happen upon him making or listening to his tapes they would leave him be. nothing there they did not know, and whatever they didn’t know they would like to remain a mystery. there was a certain distance they both liked to keep and xerox was just fine with that. but now ... 𝚗𝚘𝚠 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚢 𝚗𝚎𝚎𝚍𝚎𝚍 𝙰𝙽𝚂𝚆𝙴𝚁𝚂.
