For @strcngered || Lukadrien (Luka x Adrien)

Luka often uses his music therapeutically to help others and gladly helps Adrien to find the joy in playing music freely on his piano. They often practice with each other, playing different styles of music even video game music. Luka encourages to be free and happy with his music and not what his father's idea of a music artist.

Times when Adrien feels overwhelmed and needs to escape his room, Luka doesn't hesitate to come get him. Anarka had taught him some handy tricks and he had no problem sneaking a ladder or rope for Adrien to use climbing down. He knew Adrien would have to return eventually, but it gave a sense of adventure both boys love.

Adrien is a good listener and there are times where Luka feels to confide in him of HIS insecurities at times. Luka is also very shy of talking as he struggles with words. Somehow Adrien makes him comfortable enough to speak. Luka rarely tries to focus on him as everyone else seemed more important. Adrien has no problem reminding Luka that the musician was important to and even more important to Adrien.

Kitty Section are major fans of Chat Noir so they often create songs in tribute to their feline hero. Luka is Chat's biggest fan, though not obsessed. He highly admires Chat's boldness, kindness and actions as a hero of being very protective to the citizens of Paris. He also finds the puns VERY hilarious. Puns will get the blueberry boy chuckling.

Oh, that's blood alright.

The old deck of his saw plenty-—this was evident enough by the sorry state of his worn WELCOME mat that sat in front of his screen door.

He stood there on it in as equally worn boots, gnawing on an equally worn tooth pick as he tiredly glanced for the blood that had been drying over night and he just hadn't had the energy to deal with yet.

Shifts took a lot out of him and, more often than not, he ended up dragging blood, mud, and god knew what else onto that porch and onto his wooden floors inside. The thing was, there were rarely any other souls out this way. The shifter was so hermited there in his comfy little place in the woods that stuff like that could sit overnight and he wouldn't have to worry about questions-—usually, at least.

❝ Sure is. ❞ he doesn't look at her while he says it, just glances for the darkened wood and chews on his toothpick. He doesn't have the energy for this either, usually doesn't. Why else would he be out in the middle of nowhere? The silence drags on to the point of discomfort and it's only with the realization that he can't just will her away that he speaks again.

❝ Hunting. Didn't feel assed enough for a good clean up. You know how it is. ❞ he didn't care if she didn't and he didn't care to put too much energy into his half-truth.

For fun, I figured I'd share a couple bits of trivia and headcanons for my gang and some canon characters specific to "Starlight" (the FFIX x Original fanfic) to #fill the void #from the void once more. 🍃

My Gang:

Though Branson is rather skilled with the lute as well as guitar, when it comes to chords, they most always have to be simplified due to having four digits vs. five.

Mina, despite being mostly inspired by the Luristan newt in design, can do the eye-licking thing geckos do. She can, she isn't notorious for doing it like her siblings, though, who often did it (and still do) simply to mess with people.

Lorien is a left handed violinist. He has earned the goofy little title of "Lefty Lory" in some circles for this reason.

Known for struggling with sleep, it is theorized that one of the many reasons Sal does is because she often travels. Though she keeps track of different times on her cell, particularly her "home" time, the frequent exposure to different times across the cosmos inadvertently take their toll on her.

Canon Characters:

While Kuja's "hair feathers" may not necessarily grow like proper feathers, they do go through molt cycles akin to an actual bird's feathers. They can also be plucked. Anytime he loses them for any reason, he will dress accordingly to hide the fact or lock himself away, nowhere to be seen until the feathers grow back.

Survit (Kuja's silver dragon) earned his name after a rather dreadful encounter with dragoons. Derived from French (given some of Gaia's cultural inspiration and how Kuja inevitably forms some intrinsic interest in said culture once stranded with it) "Survit" translates to "survives."

Though it currently serves no story purpose, Garland is familiar with Ethereals. There are records of them, in their purest form, being used as a source of fuel many millennia ago as Terra navigated the cosmos. Though, they are seen as little more than organic energy sources, given that their purest form bears no sentience (Ethereals not bound to corporeal forms, like Sal, are like space jellyfish, so to speak! A bundle of nerves and energy, easy to interpret as mindless.)

There is some bad blood between Lowell and Lorien. There are whispers that the two had been in a relationship once upon a time. Needless to say, things didn't work out!

Honestly, the only person who knows the full circumstances of Eddie's background is Gareth. He's been with Eddie since elementary school, and probably bore some witness to the abuse that Eddie’s dad inflicted on him. He was there when Eddie was removed from his parents home by cps and Hopper, and taken across town to Wayne. He was there when Eddie was 14 years old and had to be on antidepressants and sleeping pills to cope with the stress and transition. Then when Eddie made the transition from prescriptions to drink and illegal drugs.... seems like they fell down that hole together like true BROS. :')
