Apologies in advance this might be a long one lol 😂

So I wanted to take a minute to share my thoughts on A Safe Haven properly after binging it all again!

This series has well and truly swept me away. Its clear through your writing that you know these characters intimately and deeply understand their personalities and circumstances. Down to the smallest details. The way you convey Joel and Ellies past from the readers perspective is so beautiful. She doesn't know what they have been through in their past be it separately or together (other than Joel telling her that Ellie has had to go through more than anyone her age should have to), and what Joel has went through to get them to Jackson. But she can feel it. She senses something unimaginably terrible has happened to the both of them and can see it weighing heavily on both.

Then onto Joel, romantically speaking, not only do you write him perfectly and everything he says gives me butterflies but it's also very realistic! This is a man who has not been romantically involved with anyone in over 20 years! So he's a bit rusty and trying to find his feet with it, in the end ultimately deciding fuck it, I want this woman and Im pretty sure she wants me too and nothing is going to stop me from getting her.!

I want to give a special mention to protective!Joel - the scene at the back of the barn when Luke shows up and Joel picks up INSTANTLY that something wasn't right there. Honestly made me feral. This scene was absolutely perfect 😍

Also, I want to tip my hat to you, to write a character like Luke and to know people are going to hate him takes balls and you did it so well, honestly I wanna fight the guy myself 😂

This is 100% one of my favourite fics I have read and I just want you to know how much your writing is loved and appreciated by so many people!

I know we all stress out about posting our work but you should be so proud of yourself for creating such a wonderful series.

I'm looking forward to devouring the rest of it Vee!!

To the last person who send an ask: idk if it would be helpful at all as I never beat Lavenza (I never did NG+ in P5 yet as I'm focusing on playing as many megaten titles as possible rn and P5 is a long game so replaying it takes a lot of time) but from someone who played many Persona and SMT games my strategy in difficult fights is using buffs/debuffs a lot (Yusuke have perfect skill for that in 3rd semester) (keep an eye of it all the time if buffs/debuffs are still active, you should cast them every 2-3 turns just in case), observe enemy's action and change Personas accordingly -have Personas in your stock than can Null/Repel and use them accordingly (also change party members mid-fight (Hifumi's confidant bonus) like if she uses for example Ice attack, change to Yusuke so he could Repel (if you applied that skill to his Persona)) also use Personas with more than one elemental attacks so you could chain Baton Passes and have more turns to apply buffs/debuffs/heal, use Charge/Concentrate so you could deal much more damage (again, if I remember correctly Ann had perfect skill for that), also buy a shitloads of SP restoring items, oh and also don't wait too long with healing (when I'm anxious about the fight, I'm actually using healing spells every turn)

Idk if that's gonna be helpful because like I said I never did NG+ in P5 yet but it's general tips that helps in 99% of Persona/SMT fights so I hope that's gonna help at least a little bit

In worst case, if that's won't help at all, don't be scared to use guides, imo that doesn't count as cheating especially if like you said earlier you tried to beat her whole week

Hello my darling Phantom Thief 😘 Have you ever beaten Lavenza in Persona 5 Royal? If so, what strategy did you use? I’ve been trying to beat her ass all week and she’s aggravating me 😡😡😡 I’ve literally done everything else in the game (even completed the Compendium) except kick Lavenza to the curb!! HELP 🥺

i haven't beaten lavenza (and i don't think i will), so i unfortunately can't offer you any tips or strategies :(

but if my track record of being a decent gamer has taught me anything, would looking into a guide help you? i like to watch youtube videos of players doing it and others where they explain efficient methods of doing so. the same can be said for reading articles about her different phases and how to counter them. if you haven't done this already, perhaps you have to increase/max your persona stats (strength, magic, etc.)?

I dated takemi and makoto in my first playthrough and in my second, which was P5R, I dated all the girls because I wanted see what their routes were like. I think makoto is best girl and I will not take any criticism

for p5, i dated ann! i planned on replaying it and going for someone else, but then royal and strikers dropped and my ng+ save has collected dust since. for p5r i dated katsumi! i’ve been replaying it recently, but i don’t know who to date this time.

Whenever Akiren feels stressed, he bury his face in Morgana's fur and the texture of Mona's fur and his purring is very soothing for him. Mona is totally okay with that because he knows that it makes his friend calm down

i do have some exciting news: i’m planning on going to a con very soon! i go every year with a family member as a birthday present, but it’s always a fun time! ^-^ aside from that, i’m almost done with lukana’s (my p5 oc) bio! i just need to flesh out a couple of things and then it’ll be done! it’s taken me awhile after a bunch of revisions, but i’m super happy with her.

i was reading your works for like the 28 time and i was STRUCK with inspiration again; oh, btw, please delete this ask if it makes you uncomfortable or if you prefer not to share, i agree with you, ship discourse is absolutely terrible!

but now, back to shukita! eve, imagine with me, akiras birthday, he lives in his hometown, in all his birthdays, yusuke would make a big text and send him gifts (that btw would always arrive weeks later, which made yusuke furious), BUT THIS BIRTHDAY, things were different; akira didn't receive any texts from yusuke, not one, he was worried and thought about calling, but he gave up, calling cause he didn't receive a happy birthday was too selfish, but still, he was upset. His other friends sent their regards and called him, some made quick calls, like sae, some made hours long calls, like ryuji, but both had something in common, they always evaded any question about yusuke, even if it was the most subtle one, akira was never a fool, on the contrary, he was VERY perceptive, so he got to the conclusion that the boy was planning something, maybe a big gift or something, akira smiled at the possibility. But as the hours passed, the day was each time closer to reach its end, just as akira hope, he sat on the diner table, eating sushi with morgana, the cat knew he was upset, even tho he didn't said a word about it, "he still wasn't sent you anyhing?" morgana asked, he signaled no with his head, when there was two quick knocks on the door, that probably was the tuna he asked to deliver for the cat, akira made his way to the door, only to be greeted by a totally wet yusuke, who was under the rain with the biggest smile even seen to man, yusuke quickly apologized for being late, saying that he had to get off the train before his destination to spare enough money to buy him a gift, but right after that it started raining, which crowded the streets- akira interrupted yusuke big explanation by grabbing him and pushing him inside the house, he smiled, saying that there was no problem and that he was gonna grab a towel.

after drying himself out, yusuke went to akiras room with his packages before his parents came home and shoot him with all kinds of questions

"Did Ryuji spoil the surprise? I've received a message while in the train, Makoto telling how you were calling him, i must admit i felt scared. But that wasn't so bad to deal as it was to not respond to your messages, i am truly sorry."

akira brushed it off, saying it was alright, he still had the same smile in his face, which made yusuke very happy

"Oh, i almost forgot, here is your gift, i had to buy it myself this time, cause clearly i can't trust any service to deliver it in time"

He said with a chuckle, akira opened the package, it was a handmade fox's mask together with a handmade joker mask, akira was baffled

"How did you manage to buy that, why they were selling our masks?"

"Don't worry, it was a commission i made myself some months before, although i admit not being the biggest fan of my own mask, i can't deny how it brings me so many memories, and i whished to make them eternal by uniting both our determinations"

after explaining, he received the biggest hug from akira, that for sure was one of the best birthdays he ever had.

SO I THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE SOME LITTLE IDEIAS I HAD WHEN I WAS READING YOUR WORKS

soo, imagine, akira and yusuke as a couple, akira has to come back to his homeland, but still, they keep a relation and they keep frequent contact, but still, yusuke really misses him, he never had a relationship before, after all, so i imagine him thinking about akira all the time, which makes he paint him 24/7, i imagine him automatically ending up painting akira even when the og ideia wasnt supposed to be him, LIKE, he was painting a landscape when suddendly he realizes he drabbled akira somewhere 😢

I ALSO imagine he sending pictures of all his works for akira, including the ones about him, thats when kurusu says he would love to have this painting, SINCE THEN, he had no peace, yusuke would always send his works about him to his homeland, which made all walls in akiras house FULL with yusukes paintings, it could almost be considered a museum at this point Lmao
