on the left is what their siblings consider their ‘normal’. yellow eyes, pointed ears, etc. this is also closest to their ‘base’ appearance. or maybe it is. they won’t be elaborating further! on the right is what their ‘current’ timeline appearance is resting near, particularly when they’re hanging out around the Lights and in RG. inspirations from kairi, obviously, and leaning into softer aesthetics.

im a proponent of the theory that, in addition to all the ‘important’ stuff, some of the copies of the Book have weird, non-specific prophecies in them scribbled in the margins. the exact date and time of blaine having a weird ingredient sandwich for lunch. etc.

normalize having to pick up your baby sister by the ankles and shake her periodically or else all the rocks and cool shit shes picked up from the ground will tear holes in her pockets

strelitzia still uses starlight as her keyblade! but unlike her time in leopardus, by the time sora arrives in quadratum she’s upgraded it to its third form. there is (obviously) shit to fight in afterlife shibuya/shinjuku, so she’s had a lot more practice and is noticeably (at least to herself) improved in both the magical and physical aspects of combat.

strelitzia kept tethered to the living world (aka, yoinked to quadratum) both because of the circumstances of her death and because of lauriam’s continued search for her and belief that somehow she made it to the future. that and her own love tying her to the present ...

re: strelitizia’s experience with quadratum being her afterlife: it is. it’s a world where there are millions of people living and working and having deep intricate personal lives, and strelitzia is more just ... watching. not really involved in anything, despite her best (and very awkward) efforts. being not-really-alive and not-really-dead, people only seem to see her and acknowledge with her for the duration of the interaction — she can say hello and thank you to the bus driver, for example, but he won’t be able to recall her after she leaves his line of sight. she lives in a nice apartment and the landlord keeps forgetting he’s actually renting out that flat. and that it exists (which rules after daybreak town rent). after all, before sora arrives it’s only strelitzia’s afterlife: why should it be all that different from how she lived before?

re: braig’s right eye, because i want to nip that shit in the bud since the general fandom attitude back in the day pissed me off: he lost the eye. there’s nothing under the eyepatch except a damaged eye socket. it is not secretly the gazing eye or a connection to darkness or some shit. he decided on an eyepatch because it best fit his needs and also the majority of the beings residing in the body thought it looked sick and matched the aesthetic.

as a disabled person i have vanishingly little interest in feeding into an ableist ‘the disability makes you special/plot important’ narrative and i’ll be disappointed but not surprised if that’s touched on in canon (okay maybe i’ll be a little surprised because it seems pretty insignificant to touch on with all the larger mysteries we have in play currently. but still disappointed). and unfortunately fiction affects reality.

cant believe ava (in radiant garden at the moment) is going to hear about everyone’s missing former coworker/enemy/friend/guy braig and how he didn’t come back after recompletion and then have to have the deeply annoying realization when they finally connect w luxu in this time that that one’s his fault

i would say that ava is a lot less dangerous in the current time line (for now) than they were back in the day. previously, they were orchestrating the end of the world (and more specifically, how the keyblade would continue on beyond it), and their ‘evil’ was simply ava’s willingness to use any means necessary to get everything in place; both according to mom’s plans, and their own judgement. now they’re just navigating and carving out the most advantageous place they can in this new time and new worlds while waiting to find / be given a clear objective, which is significantly less life threatening for all involved.
