CLOSED STARTER for @aylinerdogan where: grocery store downtown

After one whole day of hitting Coral Coast, Aiden takes it upon himself to join today's Block & Bash fest at a later time. Preferably in the early afternoon after he's had time to himself, now he can get a solid meal in that isn't made on a grill or smothered in oils and cheese (not that there is any problem with that, he just knows his body would appreciate some proper nourishment and with no shifts at Juniper Grill this weekend his lack of desire to cook isn't around to keep him from preparing himself a proper meal).

His idea is to prep a tex-mex chili - easy, filling, full of plenty of good ingredients, and he can freeze half of it. Aiden tosses a couple of cans of refried beans in his shopping basket and saunters down the aisle to the seasonings. The figure perusing isn't in his way all that much, so when Aiden reaches up for the bottle of cumin and one of chili powder on the top shelf he doesn't get in their way that much. "Hm." His eyes search until they do land on the garlic powder he needs right on the bottom shelf, in front of them, and he says, "Mind if I-" until there is a need for immediate cut off when his eyes land on her face.

Now, Aiden can do one of two things here, and it's either finish his sentence so he can retrieve what he needs, or to turn tail and run (quite literally, he does consider booking it). He settles on option three, originally not considered and definitely the least ideal one, he blames the exhaustion from a night of music festival shenanigans. Nothing but a long stare like a deer in the headlights, and a simple,

"Uhh…"
