Art & Commission Signal Boost

So this passing week, we discovered an infection in my mom's foot after her appointment with her PT (Physical therapist). We went straight to her PCP (Primary care physician) upon noticing her foot looked darker in shade, like it was properly bruised. Now for the past two months, my mother's ankle hasn't shown much progress in healing but from what I understand with diabetics, it takes longer than average to heal. At her PCP, we learned her foot likely has an infection, and had to go to Mercy ER for because of the pain in her foot and infection, it was raising her blood sugar levels to higher than normal rates (i mean 300+ high) which is VERY unusual as my mom's been keeping to her meds and learning to stabilize her sugar levels.

Due to the urgency of the situation, travels, buying food outside since we hadn't had the means to go to the store yet, and my being busy tending and monitoring her, I've had to use up the funds for some of my other bills instead. So I'll be linking here my art commissions and graphic commissions for those who can help or are interested in buying work. I accept payment from Cashapp, paypal, and Zelle.

Still working but after I will be doing a blog-clean up of inactive blogs/blogs that haven't interacted. Mishil In Baldur's Gate 3 [Personals DO NOT INTERACT]

Some random twisted wonderland hc’s cuz I woke up and couldn’t sleep:

When working at Mostro Lounge, Mishil swaps to a more formal speech pattern. When addressing Azul, for example she dubs him her boss or superior but keeps to “Azul-Sempai” as well. It’s her “customer service” mode kicking in when she’s on the clock. She gives Jade and Floyd the same courtesy and even refrains from any cursing and attitude as she works. (Unless someone really wants to provoke her and even then she’ll just try excusing herself if she feels she’s being tested.)

She’s a hard worker, and pretty fit between her morning (or evening) runs and practices (or chasing Grim). Sometimes she’s caught Jack or Vil running, testing her own speed when she agrees to sprint with them. She’s not beaten either of them but enjoys the competition and training enthusiasm.

Mishil can be bribed by food. She’s a hungry girl with a healthy appetite, and not saying she’d do anything for food per say—-but if she’s promised food or a free meal you do have her attention. The times she’s been able to bring Mostro lounge leftovers have always been a treat.

She tries encouraging Grim to study, and in helping (or trying to) him figure any practical magic means she winds up learning more on the principal of how magic works—and how dangerous it can be when Grim is over excited.

She likes magical history with Trein, mainly because this world is foreign to her and she’s curious to learn what she can and how it differs from her own.

She isn’t a fan of potion class (Even though Crewel is fabulous but intimidating). Science wasn’t her favorite of subjects and having to assist Grim in that class mixed with the chaos that could potentially follow leaves much to be desired.

While she has no magic, Mishil is pretty observant and encourages Grim during his magical training sessions—how to aim for weak points, reminding him which magic is more resistant—for the most part he tends to listen tho he’d first say “I knew that henchmen!”

They bicker and sometimes will wander away/drift as two cat-like personalities but Grim and Mishil do get close as friends and possibly like family. Mishil is very protective of him and his welfare and roots for his success.

She does work to make the dorm feel more like a proper home. Some of her work money she’s put into fixing up the interior of the dorm. She’s also perused through the rooms, finding old furniture she can work to restore to save on her funds too. If it ain’t broke, restore it.

PSA : Semi-Hiatus / Low Activity

So.. Trying to think of where to begin so I’ll start with this; My first and foremost priority is who suffers several severe health problems, those of you who know me irl/out of tumblr know what those are. Those who don’t, I’ll explain under read more some but I won’t go into full details because they are triggering topics. This blog is likely going to working on a queue system and I’ll be back to low-activity or a semi-hiatus depending on how things go in the next month. I’ll also be going radio silent, as I have my ways to cope and manage myself, including leaving discord servers/groups. 

Now, my mother’s birthday will be coming up, and it’s usually a harrowing time for her. It also does mix in with my work problems as of late. I’ve been stressed and feeling overwhelmed due to my work and lack of hours. It's the time of the year when I get re-evaluated, but I’ve yet to hear from my mother’s insurance or my work. I’ve also been taking on commission jobs because they really save me from having a meal on my table when my check is absorbed by bills. I’ve genuinely considered a third job as well, and do have options available. Back tracking to my mother, we have family problems and health problems at play for her situation and my own. She struggles with severe depression, anxiety, ptsd, and is diagnosed as suicidal. So I need to focus on her doing this stressful time of the year. Apologies again for anything here that could be triggering, but I wanted to explain myself should any of you who I’ve been writing with on and off see me vanish again for a time. Thank you all for understanding.

So things have been hectic on my end, got into a situation in regards to mom’s health but we’re monitoring her safely! Hopefully there’s improvement in the next two weeks. In the meanwhile, now that I HAVE time, back to playing some twisted wonderland for the FROLLO EVENT DAMMIT AKA THE MASQUERaDE. I WAITED SO LONG FOR ITS TRANSLATION (I love hunchback lots and broadway ver too) AND FINALLY HAVE TIME! Got a lot to catch up to but I am excited. Gothic-influence is real and im smitten Q w Q
