without a shadow of a doubt, max would accidentally reveal your relationship during a stream.

you hadn’t known he was streaming, and if you did, you wouldn’t have come in, because even being at his house would be enough to stir up curiosity (esp as rivals)

however, what really stirred the pot would be max covering the camera to kiss you, without even thinking about it. it was instinctive, like he’d done it before, and naturally, his chat would immediately question why he covered the camera

there was no getting out of it after that - clips of the stream would start trending, and that would raise the questions: did max kiss you? and are you dating?

max would quickly own up to it, mostly because he knew he dug that hole for himself. despite the initial chaos of the event, once everything cools down, max is almost happy that your relationship got exposed

surprisingly arthur had done a good job keeping your relationship a secret…until a post race interview after a particularly good weekend

the interviewer asked how he’d be celebrating, and in his giddy state, he didn’t even process his words before saying “i’m gonna go out to dinner with my boyfriend and family”

even the interviewer almost missed it with how fast it came out, as well as the fact that it was so unexpected.

of course, the interviewer then questioned arthur, and he figured he already messed things up, so he confirmed that he said “boyfriend”

later that night, hed post a dump of his celebratory dinner, and there you’d be, arm linked with his as he kissed your cheek, emphasizing his words from the interview
