@gemdeus! Gem's writing always has me in awe and I think he knows this by now, but I'll say it anyway. I can, will, and do stop to read everything that he posts, even if I'm not part of it, because his writing and his muses are just that compelling and fun to me!

@amplifyingtrace! I've always adored Leia since the days of my multimuse, but now is as good time as any to put it out there, right? Leia and Kit both are such wonderful presences, and it's a joy to have them both on my dash again!

I don’t know if I would say jealous but there are moments where I’ll see muns really good at writing things that I personally struggle with and there’s just kind of a ‘damn, i wish came that naturally to me!’ sort of feeling, you know?

I do have similar sort of feelings, like if I have an AU sitting around in my head or one that I’ve always wanted to do and then I see someone doing it - I wouldn’t say it’s a jealous moment, but it is more of a ‘damn, i wish i’d thought of that first!’ but I still wish them well and I know there’s different ways to execute the same AU.

Also, I recognize that everyone has their strengths and weaknesses and even though something might look super easy, it might not actually be - maybe the mun really does struggle with it or had to work at it, so I try to keep that in mind.

In general, I try to avoid comparing myself to others and just enjoy the portrayal for what it is.  I do have moments where I’ll wonder why people are even following me and wanting to write with me, but that’s not jealousy speaking, that’s insecurity.

Rules ❧

. I. GENERAL . This blog is selective and private, so I will only write with mutuals. However, I am very open to crossovers and OCs, and if I follow you, I am 100% interested in interacting together! I do not follow for follow or anything of the sort. I follow because I am interested in YOU and your MUSES! So please, don’t be afraid to interact if we’re following each other (but also I get it, I’m anxiety-ridden too lmao).

. II. FOLLOWING . I will not follow blogs for the following fandoms: Hetalia, Killing Stalking, Attack on Titan. Multimuses hosting muses from any of these fandoms will be regarded on a case-by-case basis, depending on my interests in the other muses present, availability of tags to blacklist, and how comfortable I may or may not be with the mun (i.e. whether we are friends prior or not).

. III. WRITING . I tend to write in both second- and third-person POV, depending on my mood! This is just how I prefer to write, and I will not be changing how I do so. However, if you are uncomfortable with second-person POV, please let me know and I will avoid using it for our interactions! It will still be present on the blog, however.

. IV. PLOTTING . Tumblr’s IM system will be used for plotting only, not any IC interactions. If any mutuals would like to plot using Discord instead (because let’s be real, it’s much easier and more dependable for notifications), feel free to ask for mine! But again, that is for mutuals only. It is, however, available for plotting, chatting, and even IC writing alike.

. V. MAINS & EXCLUSIVES . If you’d like to be mains or exclusives for our muses at any point, please do feel free to let me know! Mains are always going to be my go-to for plotting, and exclusives, while a bit more selective since it’s a higher commitment, are just as welcome! Additionally, if you want to be blog affiliates, all you have to do is ask.

. VI. SHIPPING . I am multiship! Each ship takes place in a different verse, so there is no cheating (which I do not tolerate writing anyway). Additionally, I am not ship-exclusive. The way I see it, each portrayal is unique and thus each has different potential for plotting and progression. While I am open to making muses ship-exclusive, please do not expect it by default. You will need to ask and be upfront about it– but please know that I may possibly say no, especially if I already have another version of the ship already going on.

. VII. TRIGGERS . I tag all of my triggers as (trigger) /. For example: blood /, death /, gore /, etc. As for my own triggers, I ask that mutuals tag photos of arachnids, insects, and any visuals that may trigger trypophobia. Additionally, please tag mentions and discussions of eye horror. If eye horror comes up as a subject in our discussions, please warn me first! I can handle it if I am prepared for it, at the very least.

I wouldn't say jealous, however there was a case a while back when I first started RPing on tumblr as Agent Venom that there was a bit of confusion throughout the RPC.

Mostly cause, while I was still relatively fresh on the scene, there was already another Agent Venom blog that was pretty active on here (symbiotesoldier). Mun's a real cool dude, love chatting with him. We get along pretty good.

But when I came onto the scene, well, other RPers often got us mixed up (the fact that we both RP'd the same character, but also bc our URLs were similar). We'd wind up tagged in each other's threads, get asks from each other's RP partners because they had the wrong blog. So there was generally some confusion (not to mention sometimes we got mixed up with each other's shipping partners which made things even weirder).

I did eventually change my URL, but then of course, eventually I just lost the muse for Flash and migrated him over to the place where my muses go to die, my multimuse. And that's how this blog became home to this goth brat xD

5. Have you read/watched/played anything new thanks to the rpc this year?

Yes, actually! Earlier this year, friends that I made from the rpc got me into playing Makoyaku/Promise of the Wizard, though it has been a few months since I last played it. Those same friends also recently got me into playing Path to Nowhere, which I am currently OBSESSED with.

7. Talk about one of your favorite threads that started this year.

To be honest, I haven't done a whole lot of threads this year. It's mostly been a year of recovery from some relationship trauma with a fellow tumblr user I went through around this time last year, and it's only since I made this blog that I've felt comfortable enough to return. But I can say that I'm excited for all the threads I've started so far! Maybe if I had to choose one that has a lot of my interest right now, I'd say Jirou and Midoriya having a heart to heart and moment of vulnerability with @roguesenses has a lot of my love right now. I'm always here for any of these kids processing the shit they've been through.

16. Wildcard: talk about anything that you want to that happened this year!

Honestly? For all that aforementioned shit I've had to try and work through this year, I'm just blessed to have my friends around. I've even gotten to reconnect with a few-- namely @invisiquirk, my dear friend of, what, 5 years? 6? I don't know at this point, but Cinder coming back around was such a blessing this year. I love you, bitch. I'm coming back down to visit again, mark my words :knife:

best  experience.    Probably getting to meet @invisiquirk and @empyrrrean. Those two are absolute GEMS in my life, and Cinder has been probably my closest friend for so, so long. I don't know where I'd be without the both of them. Getting to meet them in person a few years back is an absolute highlight of my life.

rp  pet  peeves  /  dealbreakers.    I honestly can't think of any pet peeves in this moment. Maybe purple prose? I am a native English speaker, but a lot of that is excessive and just muddles whatever it is you're actually trying to communicate. Dealbreakers, though-- that shit is all in my rules, naturally.

fluff,  angst,  or  smut.   I love fluff. So much. You don't understand. Platonic, familial, romantic-- you name it, I will find any way I can to make it cute and fluffy. It's my favorite. Angst is nice too, but I don't like angst just for the sake of angst, and usually I like for there to be some kind of good resolution/ending to it, or at least a neutral one. You're talking to someone terrified to death of the 'major character death' tags on AO3, man. LOL. Smut, though, is a no-go on this blog. Jirou's a minor.

plots  or  memes.    To be completely honest, I'm trying to get better at plotting, and would love to do more of it. But winging it/going off of memes has been my way for a long time-- so I'm very much open to doing both.

long  or  short  replies.    Long. For better or worse, I usually try to make myself write at least 3 paragraphs, at least for answers to memes. Threads usually end up about that length anyway. Short replies just... don't come to me tbh. I like to ramble lmao

best  time  to  write.    Whenever I find the time, honestly. Evening and night time hours feel the most productive to me, but I often work during the night so that's not exactly feasible. And with my shifts seemingly getting longer lately, free time is sporadic as hell.

are  you  like  your  muse. We're both definitely "The Music Kid". Jirou, however, is way more talented than I am. I only know how to play a trumpet and vague piano skills, and she can do like... everything lmao. But in terms of aesthetics and attitude, I think we're pretty similar!
