While Dairugger isn't my cup of tea, I love the OP for it. I heard it was done by the guy who did a lot of the music for Saint Seyia. Is that true?

You are correct!

Ginga no Seishun [ 銀河の青春 ],  was composed by Yokoyama Seiji [ 横山菁児 ] with lyrics written by Fujikawa Keisuke [ 藤川桂介] and sung by Kawatsu Kōichi [ 川津恒一 ]. It’s a damn good op song. :-)

Yoshihiko Tsuda [ 津田義彦 ] is also credited as a composer for Dairugger’s OST.

For Saint Seiya, Yokoyama-san composed the scores for the anime (80s), most-or-all of the films (80s through mid-2000s), and the Saint Seiya: Hades OVA series. He also worked on Captain Harlock and many other anime and films.
