Excellent rocker called Your Melody (專屬於你的旋律) off the brand new Thunder Love (雷霆之愛) album from P!SCO. I love this tune! =D

According to a post on IG, they've been working on this album since 2021, and I think it includes at least 3 singles released over that time.

One of the best music festivals in TW has got to be Kenting Grass Roots Festival, check out this scene! XD

I notice that 芮秋 Rachel Hsu and OmOi 張憶文 did not have their pedalboards where they would get wet from the pool. (I guess the roadies did all the effects changes backstage?) =D

Because I don’t read/understand Chinese, I never know if a song’s lyrical content has those kinds of themes (unless someone tells me / or I read about it), but I can recommend some artists:

Guitarist 芮秋 Rachel Hsu from P!SCO is transgender, and the band is definitely supportive of lgbtq issues.  Rachel has been very open about her experience.  

LEZS女人國 Magazine (www.lezsmeeting.com) frequently interviews/profiles musicians, (including Rachel Hsu HERE), but they don’t only feature lesbians in the magazine.

Singer-songwriter-bandleader Enno Cheng 鄭宜農 came out as lesbian in early 2016, and was featured in LEZS issue 21 later that year.   Video promo HERE.

Denise Ho / HOCC 何韻詩 is a Cantopop / indie star from Hong Kong, and a lesbian icon. 

HK indie singer-songwriter Ellen Joyce Loo 盧凱彤 came out as lesbian in 2017. She was profiled in LEZS in spring of 2018; tragically, she committed suicide later that year.  (She had gone public about her bipolar disorder)

HUSH aka Hush Chen (陳家偉) is the only male TW singer-songwriter that I know is gay.

Because of the COVID-19 situation, dance-rockers P!SCO have had to postpone their plans for launching P!SCO-10, their 10th ‘season’ as a band.

Here’s something the gearheads out there might find interesting: YSO LIFE had 4 guitarists discuss their effects pedals, how they create some of their signature sounds.  I think the idea was to do this demonstration with a small pedalboard, not necessarily their regular (and possibly much larger) pedal rig. 

楊永純 (Vitz Young) from I Mean Us and Triple Deer creates a shoegaze texture.

閃亮 Shiny from 怕胖團 Pa Pun Band demonstrates rhythm & lead tones.

瘋狂音樂課 Shawn Su from 麻花捲怪獸 Twisted Donut Monsters plays some metal.
