That voice, the Anemo Archon... Ei looks behind her rather surprised at his presence. She was admiring the cherry blossosms and trying to catch some petals falling from it. These cherry blossoms always reminded her of Makoto and now with her revelation she understands why it gave a sense of familiarity.

The petals in her hands were quickly discarded into the wind. She didn’t want the other to see her like a mere child trying to catch fireflies. 

She wasn’t annoyed at all by his presence (unless he chose to be annoying). Deep down Ei was somewhat glad he was still here. That he didn’t disappear or pass like the rest of the people in her life. Even if she knew they’d never get along.

“Venti? My mind... I...” She can’t finish her sentence at that moment. There was so much on her mind she doesn’t even know where to begin. Ei turns her head so the other couldn’t see her facial expressions.

 “I... I guess I am just thinking about a lot of things. Inazuma, eternity, the people I hold dear to me... The people I let down. I was a fool all along. I don’t want everyone’s sacrifices to be in vain.” A heavy frustrated sigh could be heard. If only Makoto were here. She would know how to make the people proud.

anyway, to the part where raiden shogun killed signora... despite the puppet, raiden shogun, committing the act... I feel since the raiden shogun is her creation, ei would take the blame and try to apologize for her actions. even if she feels guilt for her puppet’s actions, she still is inazuma’s archon and wont allow for anyone to bring any harm to it and wont let herself be seen as a doormat. if the tsaritsa were to do anything such as cause a blizzard or hurt inazuma ei cant just sit their idly and take it.

also since scaramouche is her puppet she may also feel apologetic for the atrocities he’s committed? its like a mom apologizing on the behalf of her kids wrongdoing ya know.
