Ken: VIXX’s long-awaited warm mini album has been released!! The feeling is very new! I am excited to see our fandom ‘Starlight’. I want to make good memories through stages and broadcasts like ‘Starlight’!

Hyuk: It's been a long time since I released a mini album and I'm excited to return to VIXX's colors, but I'm also sorry for keeping the fans waiting for so long. A lot of emotions come to me. More than anything, I want to make a lot of good memories with our ‘Starlights’ as long as we are active.

Leo: The album name is ‘CONTINUUM’. It means 'continuum' and contains VIXX's infinite journey and possibilities that are unbroken like a Möbius strip, and the title 'Amnesia' contains the meaning of recognizing each other in a connected link even in forgotten memories such as amnesia.

Ken: The concept of this album is based on the theme of ‘amnesia.’ This is a story about us wandering around looking for a connection, unknowingly being drawn to memories we don't want to lose and precious people.

Hyuk: We prepared with the idea that VIXX's unique sincerity and worldview would be the concept and our own color.

Q. 유기적인 연결고리 특히 ‘연속성'을 주제로 한 앨범인 만큼 빅스란 그룹이 지금까지 가지고 온 연속성은 무엇인가요? 그 중에서도 활동 기간 내내 변하지 않은 부분과 또 시간이 흐름에 따라 자연스레 변해온 부분은 어떤 것들인지? 레오 : 변한 건 없습니다. 빅스 안에서 성장한 멤버들이 존재할 뿐입니다. 켄 : 지금까지 가져온 연속성은 팬을 생각하는 마음과 사랑, 멤버들 간의 돈독함, 여러 테마들의 컨셉트화, 무대 위에서의 무드라 할 수 있을 것 같아요. 자연스레 변해온 부분은 멤버들의 실력, 무대 위에서의 노련미, 팬들을 더 아끼는 마음이 아닐까요? 혁 : 변하지 않는 건 우리가 함께 걸어온 시간들, 추억들이에요. 아직도 선명하게 자리 잡고 있어 불쑥불쑥 생각도 나고 더욱 힘을 내게 해주는 에너지이고요. 변해온 것들은 아무래도 시간과 세월이 흐른 만큼 성숙해지고 성장한 모습들이라 하고 싶어요.

Q. Since this is an album with the theme of organic connection, especially ‘continuity’, what is the continuity that the group VIXX has had so far? Among them, which parts did not change throughout the activity and which parts naturally changed over time?

Leo: Nothing has changed. There are only members who have grown within VIXX.

Ken: I think the continuity brought so far can be said to be the thought and love for the fans, the closeness between the members, the conceptualization of various themes, and the mood on stage. What has naturally changed is the members' skills, their skill on stage, and their love for their fans.

Hyuk: What doesn't change are the times and memories we walked together. It's still clearly in place, and it reminds me of it, and it's an energy that gives me more strength. I would like to say that the things that have changed are things that have matured and grown over time.

Q. How did you work on the album title song?

Ken: Track 1, ‘Amnesia’, is a song completed through each member’s understanding and expression of their parts. Although it is not a song that I wrote myself, it is a song that was created by reflecting and modifying the members' and composer's many opinions in the flow of the song!

Hyuk: This is a song that reflects VIXX's sincerity and worldview with the theme of 'amnesia'. The work was prepared by thinking about and discussing many aspects with the members, thinking about what each of us could do well, or the feelings of 'Starlight' who would be looking forward to us.

Q. I think you were trying to express some contrasting energy in the two different versions of the jacket. Could you please explain the two different versions?

Leo: In addition to the performance style, we tried to express styling that the members had not tried before, in line with the concept.

Hyuk: One thing is that it is a version that contains a lot of the individual colors and tendencies that each person has walked and grown in. The other is that when the individual pieces (i.e. the members) come together, they become one called VIXX. Q. What are the colors of each VIXX member in the ‘Peace’ version?

Leo: I wanted to show the mystery and weight, but also the power inherent within it.

Ken: I wanted to present a bold but not too heavy feeling. It's honest yet appealing.

Hyuk: I added elements that symbolize pure charm, such as flowers and butterflies, to a restrained and calm atmosphere and expressed it with the keyword 'lilac'. I hope you can see for yourself how it goes together with the music in the album.

Q. You have always been talked about for your hidden singing, live, and dancing skills. Could you tell us about the high-quality results you would like to boast about in this album, which were created as a result of a lot of invisible effort and practice in terms of vocals and choreography?

Leo: If you listen to the album, you will notice the members' growth as I mentioned.

Ken: First of all, it seems like the details, emotions, and sounds when singing while dancing have changed a lot. I put a lot of effort and practiced in the mirror to make the choreography and facial expressions look a bit lethal (laughs)!

Hyuk: First of all, I would like to praise the members who have grown stronger in terms of vocals, and I think the VIXX style will be expressed well in terms of performance. This is the result of a lot of thought and effort, so please pay attention to the details.

12일 유튜브 채널 'MA ENTERTAINMENT'에는 "'Man on the moon' Documentary Teaser(ENG/CHN/JPN)" 영상이 게재됐다.

해당 영상에는 "기다려주신 많은 팬 여러분, 저희가 드디어 모이게 됐는데 그동안 많이 응원해 주신 만큼 음악적으로 얼마나 성장했는지 제대로 보여드릴 테니까요. 기대 많이 해주셨으면 좋겠습니다. 곧 만나러 가겠습니다"라는 멤버들의 내레이션이 담겼다.

이어 "Again Together with B.A.B.Y(팬덤)"라는 자막이 나오며 종료됐다.

비에이피는 2012년 1월 데뷔한 그룹이다. 당시 엑소, 빅스, 비투비 등 많은 보이그룹들이 쏟아져 나온 가운데 제 4회 멜론 뮤직 어워드, 제 21회 하이원 서울가요대상 시상식, 제 27회 골든디스크 어워즈, 제 2회 가온차트 K-POP 어워드 등에서 신인상을 수상했다.

안정적으로 팬덤을 확보한 후 월드투어를 진행하는 등 활발한 활동을 이어왔으나 소속사의 부당 대우로 멤버들은 소송을 진행하기도 했다.

소송 이후에도 소속사는 국내 활동보다 해외 활동에 집중했고, 2018년 유닛 그룹으로 먼저 데뷔한 방용국과 젤로의 계약이 만료됐다.

이듬해 멤버 전원의 계약이 해지되며 활동이 종료됐다. 이후 멤버들은 군대에 다녀온 후 개인 활동을 이어가고 있다.

이번 다큐멘터리에는 방용국, 정대현, 유영재, 문종업만 함께하게 됐다. 젤로는 현재 군 복무 중이다.
