every limb feels tangled in a taunt knot of nerves ────── her leg bouncing, teeth chewing at her lip... fidgeting fingers lay restlessly in her lap, finally turning to @immobiliter with a frustrated sigh ― impatient. " how long did the box say again? " hera looks at aimee with wide, frightened eyes ― jade greens expanding to reveal a brief glimpse to her history and future, a constant state of dread and distress...
" aimee...? " voice catches upon the claws of doubt, digging into her throat as if to stifle her very breath. a small and pitiful tone. " ― what if it says yes? "

" bailey ────── ? " a frown furrows atop her brow the moment she felt her daughter's tiny fingers slip from her hand ― mother's reflex quickly snatching the child's arm just as she were to slip out of reach. grasp tightens about bailey's delicate wrist, the fear of losing her just like the rest still fresh within her mind... " bailey? " she questions once again, her child unmoved and fixated ,instead, on a woman behind the crowd...
confusion further kneads her brows together, her face unrecognizable to the usually all-knowing mother; but before she could press further, dare to ask the questions already racing through her mind, she is launched forward by the strength of an eager child ― already racing across the shopping center's 'freeway', weaving in and out of passing crowds, her poor mother trailing along like a lost dog on a leash... " bailey! " she exclaims right as they come to a sudden stop ― bailey in awe at a stranger now nearly nose to nose with her mother, once gaze dares to lifts from @realmyths feet.
" ― oh! " it is more a whisper than an exclamation, shocked by her sudden proximity to a stranger. even more embarrassed by her daughter's sudden action. she takes a step back, tugging bailey along with her before wonder can border on rude. " i ― i'm so sorry. i don't know what happened, i ― " attention flickers between her child and the stranger, still attempting to make sense of what she wishes to call an accident but feels...fated, as if stepping in and out of a dream... " sorry... " she shakes off the feeling with a nervous chuckle and a joke: " we're usually much more behaved than that. "
