Não reprimiu o pequeno sorriso que tomou seus lábios ao ouvir a frase alheia, todo o contexto da situação era o disfarce perfeito, quem olhasse de fora pensaria que Sol estava feliz pelo convite feito pela princesa, somente ela mesma sabia a verdade por trás do sorriso. Passos pequenos, lentos e constantes. Era assim que se aproximaria de Antoinette, o convite era a abertura de uma porta. Uma possibilidade. "Insônia?" Perguntou de forma simples, sentando ao lado da figura feminina. Seu tom de voz era baixo ao tentar esconder sua presença de ouvidos curiosos, aproveitando para diminuir a distância entre elas ao forçar Tony a prestar mais atenção em si para ouvir com clareza. A segunda opção era se aproximar. "Eu não sou acostumada a ótimas noites de sono também, podemos dizer que temos isso em comum." Confidenciou, essa era uma informação verdadeira sobre Sol, ao contrário de várias outras fabricadas que possuía. Não faria mal compartilhar esse detalhe insignificante com Tony. "Não vai ser problemático se você for vista sozinha aqui comigo, vossa alteza?" Usou do título como uma provocação, saboreando as palavras entre os lábios antes de soltá-las entre o sorriso jocoso. "As outras selecionadas podem ficar enciumadas."

"Beauharnais. Eu vou me matar na sua frente." Ameaçou entredentes, observando ao redor sem conter a irritação em seus movimentos. Levou a destra até o cotovelo da mais alta, segurando firme ali e puxando-a para o canto mais afastado da festa. "Quem foi o imbecil que achou uma boa ideia a sua presença aqui?" Seus olhos observavam Beau, mas sua irritação abafavam os pensamentos sobre quão bonita ela estava naquela roupa especial para a apresentação das Selecionadas. Parou assim que se deu conta da taça cheia de vinho que a outra carregava, corroborando mais ainda para a irritação que sentia borbulhar em seu peito. "Você é uma idiota, isso sim. Para de beber, agora." Seus dedos apertaram um pouco mais o contato, coisa que ela se arrependeria assim que se afastasse. "Por favor." Soprou, em súplica.

As palavras chegaram nos ouvidos da princesa como se fossem mel, atraindo um sorriso pouco decente para seus lábios quase de imediato. Niamh tinha brincado algumas vezes com Tony de flertar as suas selecionadas, mas a situação em que se encontrava parecia ter fugido um pouco do controle. Seus olhos se encontravam fechados para que pudesse aproveitar as leves carícias em seus ombros despidos - devido ao vestido bastante revelador que trajava - e as duas taças de vinho tinto ainda se encontravam parcialmente cheias da última vez que foram enchidas por elas, ornamentando o ambiente da sala de mulheres agora vazia que se encontravam. "Não devíamos..." Disse a contra gosto, sem se mover um centímetro para longe do contato. "Ou melhor, eu que deveria te distrair. Você que tem muita coisa na cabeça agora." Abriu os olhos para que pudesse virar a cabeça o suficiente para que conseguisse observar a mulher mais velha, o sorriso não havia abandonado totalmente os lábios grossos, apenas se tornando um pouco mais discreto no processo. "Talvez eu consiga te mostrar uma ou outra coisa que a princesa gosta."

"Essa sim é uma novidade." Comentou, o sorriso brincalhão em seus lábios era o suficiente para mostrar que estava implicando com Beau, atitude costumeira da relação de ambas. "Quer apostar quanto que você vai dormir e eu vou ficar acordada? É o que sempre acontece, Bee." Estava reclamando, mas as palavras não saíam do fundo do seu coração, era óbvio que se tornariam realidade, mas aquilo estava longe de a incomodar. A Benoit gostava da possibilidade de poder observar a namorada na quietude e tranquilidade da noite, sem precisar se preocupar com os problemas do país ou com os discursos inflamados de seus próximos. Tratou de se arrastar pela cama que dividiam, repousando o corpo sob o da maior, utilizando das mãos como um pequeno travesseiro para que pudesse apoiar o queixo no tórax alheio sem machucar a pele com o osso pontudo. Seus olhos pairavam cuidadosamente pelo rosto da morena, revisitando lugares que ela conhecia e amava. O carinho que possuía pela outra era quase sufocante, esperava que esse sentimento nunca a impedisse de respirar. "Durma com os anjos, mon coeur."

Não era segredo para ninguém que Niamh gostava demais de se aproveitar do status que possuía para fazer coisas que não conseguiria de outra forma, durante a Seleção de Tony isso não seria diferente. Sua presença durante a aula de dança das selecionadas se devia a um guarda muito amedrontado com a possibilidade de desagradar a princesa da Irlanda e a sua própria princesa ao ouvir a Bryne falar por longos minutos sobre como ela era a melhor amiga da futura rainha e tinha o direito de observar as meninas de perto já que ajudaria Tony com a decisão mais importante da vida dela! Agora estava ali, sentada e com os olhos de águia voando entre cada uma das presentes enquanto as analisava - para seu próprio entretenimento, nada a ver com a amiga. Sua atenção foi capturada por uma figura familiar, era a vez de Annelise e imediatamente Niamh tratou de colocar uma carranca na expressão delicada. Não gostava da ex de Tony e considerava ter motivos o suficientes para isso. O problema era quando esse pequeno detalhe fugia de sua mente e seu cérebro a obrigava a olhar um pouco mais. Estava hipnotizada, o resto da sala parecia ter perdido a luz e um holofote pairava sob Anne. Não sabia dizer se havia ficado daquele jeito durante toda a dança, mas franziu os lábios assim que percebeu a figura se aproximar. As palavras a pegaram de surpresa. "Droga, droga, droga." Pensou, não escondendo a surpresa no olhar ao perceber que havia sido flagrada encarando. Pior. Admirando. Permitiu que os olhos dançassem lentamente pela figura a sua frente, quase no mesmo ritmo da música que ainda ecoava em seus ouvidos. "Gostosa. Não! Quer dizer, sebosa! É!" Balançou a cabeça levemente para afastar os pensamentos. "You're a terrible dancer!" Falou a primeira coisa que surgiu em sua cabeça, cruzando os braços sob o peito e mantendo a posição rígida.
