𝐍𝐞𝐰 #𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ⁣ Have you ever taken on a project and thought that maybe you've bitten off more than you can chew? I'm notorious for doing that.🙈 ⁣ But if you love what you're doing/the project you're working on, you WILL find a way to persevere! Just take a deep breath and break the project down into smaller bite-sized manageable projects. You can transfer the pennant’s magic to a nonmagical item—a suit of armor, a pair of boots, or a cloak—by tracing the vind rune there with your finger. The transfer takes 8 hours of work that requires the two items to be within 5 feet of each other. At the end, the pennant is destroyed, and the rune appears in silver on the chosen item, which gains a benefit based on its form: ⁣ 🛡𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐫. The armor is now an uncommon magic item that requires attunement. You gain a bonus to speed of 5 feet while you wear the armor, and if it normally imposes disadvantage on Stealth checks, it no longer does so. ⁣ 🥾𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐬/𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐚𝐤. The pair of boots or cloak is now a rare magic item that requires attunement. While wearing the item, you can convert up to 20 feet of your movement on each of your turns into flight. If you don’t land at the end of this flight, you fall unless you have another means of staying aloft. 𝐍𝐞𝐰 #𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ⁣ The defending army eagerly waits upon the seaside rampart as their enemy sails towards them. With the mist of the bay shrouding the incoming army, all that can be heard is the distant rhythmic rows of the approaching enemy. ⁣ A horns calls out, piercing the early morning silence... ⁣ Fear strikes the heart of every defending soldier as the Warchief's Sentinel on the mast of the leading ship breaks through the fog with the barbarian army in tow. ⁣ 🚩The Warchief's Sentinel is from the Banner of the Krig Rune in #StormKingsThunder. This item is perfect for implementing on a sailing vessel or even on a rampart of a castle! I always liked the idea large scale wargaming but unfortunately it doesn't exactly translate to D&D 5e that well. I could totally picture this item being the leading force of an army headed into battle. ⁣ ⬇️How do you picture this item being used? ⁣ • • • ⁣ 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞'𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 Each Titan Stone contains its own mystery. Through an arduous 8 hour ritual, the stones can transfer their magic to another item, weapon, or piece of armor. The two items to be within 5 feet of each other. At the end, the stone is destroyed and the rune appears on the chosen item. This gains a benefit based on its form and forever possesses the magic of its respective rune. ⁣ 𝐆𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞. You can transfer the banner’s magic to a place by tracing the krig rune on the ground with your finger. The point where you trace it becomes the center of a spherical area of magic that has a 500-foot radius and that is fixed to the place. ⁣ 🛡𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞. 𝐍𝐞𝐰 #𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 🗿 ⁣ This was the first Titan Stone my players discovered at the start of our 2-year long (currently ongoing) campaign. At the time, the sentient stone was in the possession of a hill giant that was recruiting nearby goblins, orcs, gnolls, and other hostile creatures to launch an attack on the small village of Parnast. Baad Fruul was able to persuade the masses to join his ranks because he had come into the possession of a Headband of Intellect (interesting combo for a hill giant😂). ⁣ This story arc was a variation of an #AdventuresLeague module that I made some modifications to. If you scroll back in my post history far enough you can actually see some shots of the final showdown with Baad Fruul and the invasion of Parnast! • • • 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 ⁣ 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥’𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫.  You can transfer the stone’s magic to a non-magical item — a weapon or a suit of armor — by tracing the haug rune there with your finger. The transfer takes 8 hours of work that requires the two items to be within 5 feet of each other. At the end, the quartz is destroyed, and the rune appears in dirt on the chosen item, which gains a benefit based on its form: ⁣ 🗡𝗪𝐞𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐧. This weapon is infused with the power of the hill giants. The weapon hungers deeply and is relentless in its attacks. Once per short/long rest, you can activate the weapon for 1 minute, allowing you to make an additional attack with it as a bonus action on each of your turns. ⁣ 🛡𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐫. When my party stumbled across this item deep within the fire giant fortress of Ironslag, they used it to animate a chain golem to help them defeat the wicked Duke Zalto. ⁣ Did you know that each Titan Stone contains its own mystery? Through an arduous 8 hour ritual, the stones can transfer their magic to another item, weapon, or piece of armor. The two items to be within 5 feet of each other. At the end, the stone is destroyed and the rune appears on the chosen item. This gains a benefit based on its form and forever possesses the magic of it's respective rune. ⁣ Alas for the Ingot of the Skold Rune. • • • 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝗪𝐚𝐫𝐝. You can transfer the ingot’s magic to a nonmagical shield or a two-handed melee weapon. ⁣ 🛡𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝.⁣ The shield becomes rare magic item that requires attunement. Its magic gives you a +1 bonus to AC, and the first time after each of your long rests that damage reduces you to 0 hit points, you are instead reduced to 1 hit point. You must be wielding the shield to gain these benefits. ⁣ 🗡𝐓𝐰𝐨-𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐞 𝗪𝐞𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐧. The weapon is now an uncommon magic weapon. 𝐍𝐞𝐰 #𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 🗿 ⁣ You have heard rumors of a long forgotten ancient treasure chest hidden within a cave on the western side of the Greypeak Mountain Range. With unspoiled lands ripe with game and crop, the area is notorious for being riddled with giants. ⁣ As you travel to the western side of the mountain, it comes to no surprise that a hill giant has taken up residence within the cave. Upon further investigation, you learn that he is accompanied by a pet black bear; but something is strange... ⁣ 🤔Although the surrounding area confirms their presence, the tracks from both the hill giant and black bear are much smaller than you would expect. After preparing and buffing up the party, together you enter the cave, ready for the battle ahead. ⁣ Sneakily heading into the cave, you get the drop on your unsuspecting foes! To your surprise, both the hill giant and and black bear are shrunken down to 1/4 their normal size but still attacking with the full strength of a normal hill giant. ⁣ Upon slaying the tiny but mighty hill giant, he instantly reverts to his true size. The cat-sized black bear instantly cowers in fear and submits. The collar she wears contains a tiny tag with the name "Blooddrinker" etched into it and you find her to be quite sweet and eager to be adopted by a new family. ⁣ Although you gained a new companion, to your dismay you find the treasure gone and instead a note that reads, "Feeling small now? Courtesy of Clan True-Nimbus of the Clouds." • • • This is the story of the very first session with my 2 year campaign. This rendition on an #AdventuresLeague module sent us on a journey that lives on to this day! 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐈𝐭𝐞𝐦⚔️ ⁣ The #StormKingsThunder module contains art for giant runes, but they do not really come up at all within the story. To spice things up in my home campaign I have developed 20 magical items focused around these runes and I have coined them "Titan Stones". ⁣ 🗿Each item has their own plot, story, and history to go with it! The Shard of the Ise Rune is an item within the campaign, however I wanted to expand upon it. The ise (ice) rune glows within the pommel of the blade. The origin of this blade itself and who made it is unknown. 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐈𝐭𝐞𝐦⚔️ ⁣ Recently my weekly Home Campaign that has been going on for nearly 2 years now has been put on hold. This is even more frustrating because we are literally 1 session away from the final show down with the final big bad, Iymrith, an ancient blue dragon😩 ⁣ I have been running a variation of #StormKingsThunder with a lot of additional homebrew plot lines. In the module they talk about different giant runes but don't really incorporate them into the story at all. Seeing the potential, I sent myself in a headlong spiral down a giant sized rabbit hole🐰 ⁣ Over the past 2 years I have developed 20 magical items focused around these runes and coined them "Titan Stones". Each item has their own plot, story, and history to go with it. I began to share these awhile back but stopped because I didn't want my players to get any ideas😏 but they have now found many of the stones and it is time to share their stories! • • • 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 This 8-inch round citrine talisman rests on a stone table in the center of a maze-like structure within the Ruins of Karse. This Titan Stone bares the Hellig Rune, meaning "Sacred". There are few who know of this forgotten relic, and even fewer who know the secret it holds... ⁣ This item serves as a phylactery for the one whom is responsible for the demise of Karse, Wulgreth.
