it's realizing you're not writing in korean. / i agree in narration, but dialogue i think is different? as a native speaker of another language that uses honorifics, when i'm talking to ppl of the same ethnicity as me, i still use those terms even if we're talking in english (only if i know we're same ethnicity, otherwise it's weird). def agree it can be done cheesily, but i feel like casual dialogue between koreans is fine? i'd do the same if i was writing a muse of my ethnicity, for example

i think this will be the last ask posted about this discussion just so it won't keep dragging on.
