This is Paladin (he/him) and Caretaker (she/her) and they’re actually twins, believe it or not

cut because i babble a little :)

Caretaker is the bluntest, most straight-faced motherfucker to ever not walk this earth. She’s even a bit mean, with her brother usually being the one to get that treatment (not that he doesn’t return the attitude right back)

That being said, she’s also very caring (like the name omg) and gentle when someone really needs it

She also leaves a trail of small, pink flowers of differing shades wherever she walks and she kinda hates it nowadays

Paladin, in stark contrast to his sister is the Silliest Guy Ever™️ The most insufferable bitch ever and he knows it and loves it. His sister also knows it quite well too

he’s also very sad for several Lore reasons (Birdo don’t make the goofy characters extremely tragic challenge), he’s sorta “I miss my wife Tails” coded

That being said, these two are utterly inseparable and one being lost would actually break the other methinks, they’re very special to me

AND they also used to have an older brother! Unfortunately, he was lost in some sort of accident, helping to defend the Sentinels from.. something

Cat update - the good, the sad and the ugly. The Peoples Queen is 4 today 🎉 I love that so many of you are invested in her especially. Sales of mini bee domes in 2019 funded her rescue and treatment in Greece. Hence the name People's Queen. Proper name Artemis. Actual name Gingey. Love of my life, pearl of my world. Here are ten of her finest pictures. · Now here comes the Sad News™️ I now have an 8th cat, Smudge. It's a sad and difficult situation and I dont want to share pictures of her yet. She's 20 and was my childhood cat. My nan kept her after kicking me out at 16. When nan died two weeks ago I picked Smudge up, and it's like healing a part of my past, having her back safe with me. Shes the sweetest cat, I got her when I was ten. She used to sleep on my chest as I went to sleep. I hadn't seen her in 14 years, and never thought I would again. · Now the Ugly. She is rail thin, mouth full of bad teeth and was covered in matted fur. I'm furious that she was allowed to get into this state. She wasn't even on senior food. I've had tests done which have shown kidney disease. I can't afford the next set of tests, so all I can do is put her on special food to help. Even that will cost £60 a month. I am running on fumes still but doing my best for her. I'm keeping them all separate for now to let Smudge adjust, but Mariella has sniffed her through the door cracks and seems keen to be friends. I did not need anything else on my plate, but if it was gping to be anything I'm glad it was this. · If you got this far thank you for caring and keeping up to date on my saga of a life.
