Echo continued to fire back at the droids to cover Skywalker and Rex. He will do anything to keep them both alive. He can't lose Rex. He trusted the captain with his life more than once, and now he will repay at least part of the debt.

Kix received Skywalker's signal. He had heard from his brothers that Skywalker had returned carrying Rex with him. So this is serious.

"Yes, sir! I hear you! You need to run another half click! I am waiting for you!"
