He didn't mean to FLINCH. Kai is correct: he typically likes when the other runs his slim fingers through his blue locks. There's hardly a more comforting sensation to Alice. Yet, the prisoner reels backwards when feeling someone snap him out of the numb-like trance with a thoughtful touch.

His heart pounds hard, fingers gripping at the stripped uniform to help steady himself. A bead of sweat slips down the side of his face as he tries to calm his breathing. How anxious Alice finds himself . . . It's no wonder the homemaker's gazes upon him with such concern.

Ah, Kai's kindness will surely be the death of him! It will be far too difficult to not unload his burdens when being tended to in such a way!

The first aid kit is shoved directly into the police officer's chest. Alice then swiftly turns his frame in the opposite direction before he could notice any sort of FLINCHING coming from his 'hero'. It's what the blond DESERVES for giving him the scare of a lifetime! Keiji is FORUNATE that all he got was a few lashes to his back when practically TACKLING the convict to the ground in order to protect him from harm's way.

Arms cross out of pure annoyance, his jaw clenching at the very thought that the other could have DIED trying to shield his sorry mug. Just who does he think he is, anyway?! Alice is fully capable of watching his own person! . . . Yet, he failed to notice the trap he activated in the other room when trying to solve the latest puzzle.

This is ultimately HIS fault that anyone got hurt. Why does this sort of thing seem to occur quite often? If only he could fade into the background to avoid such mishaps! Shoulders sag at his line of thinking. He shouldn't be so HARSH towards his companion for doing what he thinks is RIGHT. Alice would like to think he would do the same if someone else had the same exact rotten luck as he does.

The blue-haired felon turns his head in attempt to peek over his shoulder to check if Keiji is irked with his behaviour. When all he sees is that GRIN on the officer's face that he has come to know and love, that's when Alice faces him properly. A soft huff falls as he yanks the medical kit from Keiji's hands and promptly opens it. He rummages through the equipment before finding the bandages that would suit the injuries best.

❝Your shirt is an OBSTACLE if you are wanting to be treated for your wounds . . . I owe you a MAJOR favour, after all, Keiji Shinogi. Allow me to pay you back--❞

Hands immediately find themselves against the counterfeit vampire's shoulders. One would think Alice is about to shove the other man backwards due to the panicked expression on face, but no such thing occurs. Instead, his cheeks actually begins to deepen to a crimson color. His lips part, initially, but no words come out. All he can muster is a 'tch' sound. Turning his head slightly, the prisoner doesn't wish to indulge the police-officer with such a ridiculous roleplay!

He's already drawn into the ordeal, though. Curse Keiji Shinogi and his devilishly ,CHARMING ways!

❝Are you DAFT? You truly think I would allow a creature of the night to feast on my blood?! Even if it is you--!! Ugh, just don't leave a MARK. . . You'll be the one explaining to the others if there are any traces of your vampiric activities visible!❞

"What sick fuck put up mistletoe?"  He isn't an idiot , he knows what's supposed to happen next and it leaves a bitter taste in his mouth.  What a disgusting , stupid , USELESS tradition it is.  Ember eyes drift to the ceiling like he's deep in thought.  Of course Ranger would rather kiss a fish than Alice ( then again , there's a long line of things he'd kiss before Alice ) but as agonizing this will be for him , it'll be twice as worse for Alice.  And he isn't about to pass up a chance to further terrorize the prisoner. Before Alice could run away Ranger throws himself at the prisoner , skinny arms wrapping themselves around his neck & drawing him close.  Closing his eyes , he quickly kisses Alice on the lips and pulls away just as fast. "Better treasure that one forever!  Because that's the first and ONLY kiss you're gettin' from me!"  It's only when he turns his back he gags.

The two could have simply walked AWAY from vicinity of the mistletoe. Not a word of this to anyone. Even better? They could NEVER cross paths again! Now THAT would be a christmas miracle, indeed. Instead. . .the Floormaster is violating Alice’s personal space to the point that their frames are pressed against each other. Hands fly upward in hopes of prying the red-head off of his front, but it’s to no avail when skinny arms wrap around his neck and lock in tightly. Teeth clench in such a manner that his jaw is surely to ache soon, pink-coloured hues set ABLAZE in pure annoyance. The AWFUL realization of how CLOSE his face is to the Dressup Doll’s only seals their fate further. Quite literally with a kiss!

Once Ranger pulls away in a flash, Alice wipes his own mouth roughly with the a striped sleeve. There’s not enough mouthwash in the world that can erase the taste or memory of this traditional kiss. The only thing that could mend this unfortunate misstep of walking underneath the mistletoe is a Christmas PUMMELING. Thus, the convict slams one of his fists into his other palm repeatedly while rapidly approaching his target.
