>[He tries to run, but it's faster, and the ground seems to stretch out before him, becoming an infinite expanse, that seems to only pull him closer to the creature. The creature itself seems to only get closer, and increase in size, staring him down like a feral animal.]

>[Off in the distance, Ant seems to stand idle, just... watching. He doesn't move an inch, not seeming to get closer despite Jasper running to him. Even as he cries out when the creature grabs onto him, claws piercing flesh and tearing his back open, Ant stands idle. He chose his friend over Jasper. But... why wouldn't he?]

>[The creature holds Jasper down, flipping him over and forcing him to stare down into it's maw, which reeks of death, drawing it's barbed tongue over his face and cutting his skin to taste his blood before lifting him and putting it's jaws around his head, everything going dark with a deafening sound]

>[When he wakes up, the dream stays in his mind, burning.]

>[...But the static sound doesn't go away.]

> [ He chalked it up to paranoia, hysteria, maybe even imagination. That all he needed was a bit of medicine and it would go away. ]
