it's finally done!!! i made my own version of Black Sapphire for this blog~ he just has some subtle differences from his original design, but i'm pretty proud of this hehe >w<

he will be a secondary muse and i'll be writing more stuff with him and Choco Pretzel :3c his bio will be added to the pinned post later (don't mind the watermark, i'll be posting this drawing on my other socials lol)

also i have a second version of this reference, showing how he looks when he goes berserk + headcanons for it, so content warning for angst/more intense imagery (?) below the cut:

Headcanons for Berserk Black Sapphire ;

multiple colored eyes w/colorful tears; same colors as his staff's demon eyes. the pupils look like mini radio wavelengths, sporadically shaking

his hair turns white and his skin turns a fuzzy ashen grey; the texture similar to TV static

an aura of black smoke and small poisonous bubbles surround him

Black Sapphire was originally going to have a secret boss battle, but the devs scrapped the idea. the data/code was still attached to him though somehow, so he's extra careful about keeping his darker side in check + not letting his negative emotions get the best of him

Due to an incident, she is the CRK player who got isekai'd into Earthbread, specifically her version of the game. As a cover story, she is the sister of Cocoa Cookie and resides in the new kingdom of Reynadia. She often helps as the team strategist when she adventures or goes on missions with her allies / friends. All the while, she's trying to figure out a way to get back to her old life (but does she really want to? That's the question.) No one else knows about her secret, regarding being the player. Although she sometimes slips up and seems to know more than she should...

How did you meet Choco Pretzel Cookie

At the edge of the kingdom, Black Sapphire spotted an unusual sight lying on the beach. A cookie with long, brown-and-white hair and salted freckles upon her warm skin. At first, he thought she washed up on shore, but her hair and clothes were completely dry. He didn't recognize her, believing her to be an outsider, yet something about her felt so familiar to him...

Then all of a sudden, a surge of emotions struck him. Unbidden memories that weren't his own flickered across his mind at a rapid rate, like quickly yanking a long film strip out of a projector.

Once everything had finally settled down, all was still and he stopped clutching his head. He took a deep breath before slowly gazing down at the girl.

His lips curved into an unreadable smile.

"You're a long way from home, aren't you? Miss Player..."

🥨 Choco Pretzel Cookie

Sleep, what's that? Sleep is for the weak Choco Pretzel usually spends her nights in the Tower of Records, searching for any clues or information she missed that could possibly help her return home. In the morning, her friends would find her snoozing at a table with piles of books surrounding her.

🍇 Black Sapphire Cookie

Black Sapphire had a previous side hustle hobby involving voice acting, with content like "comfort listener" videos, prior to being Shadow Milk's minion. He would help the listener fall asleep better with his soothing voice and sweet words. "Don't worry dear, I'm here for you~ Just rest your pretty little head on me and I'll hum a song while you sleep..."

☕️ Cocoa Cookie

Cocoa had once fell asleep inside the giant mug she summons during battle, completely exhausted after a long mission. Choco Pretzel was the one who carried her on her back while they headed back to the Reynadia kingdom. Cocoa is a pretty deep sleeper so she was knocked out the whole time.
