i’ve never actually finished watching cube before so i’m gonna like... actually do that today ghlsdkfj cause i watched meander yesterday and it reminded me that i really like this genre
#i also never got to one of the twists and i'm into it#i hope something doesn't like#Untwist it later#i also forgot about the disabled character :T#but anyway#meander was fun#it has bad reviews bc the story makes no sense and the only emotional complexity it tries to add is#'hey don't forget: the main character's daughter died!' whenever they need a break between stressful/gory scenes#but like idk i didn't go into it with the expectation that the story was going to be amazing#i went into it wanting to watch a fun gory movie that gives you that like rollercoaster adrenaline feeling#and anyway in that way it totally delivered for me#really gross and generally very good gore#obviously low budget set but it just makes it more claustrophobic#i don't wanna spoil too much but there's some fun design in it and i liked hte sound design#bc they definitely went a little overboard but in a fun way#good to listen to#so#if you like 'stuck in a cave' movies
