Sometimes you just gotta write 1500+ words of a resignation letter you will never send because your employer has done something that is so beyond the pale that you have to let it out somewhere.
#original post#The Adventures of Teddy's Life#teaching#career change#how is it only Tuesday#what if I did send it. what then.#'yeah there's only 6 weeks left of school but you'll have to find somebody else to finish it out. good luck!'#what are they gonna do. we already spent five months out of the school year without a first grade special ed teacher#and are unlikely to replace the third grade special ed teacher who retired a month ago#couldn't get someone to fill in the math specialist position after she moved to long-term sub kindergarten#so we got one of our day-to-day subs to do it and then pull her every other day to sub for whoever's out#so math support doesn't actually happen#(but then it's our fault when the kids don't progress)#(because EVERYTHING is our fault.)
