Staring at what was in front of him, he silently simmered in the way the person of tiny statue and unknown intentions just had to find a place next to him. "...Why?" What did she want from him? He didn't like to look at her for very long, because he didn't like the feeling it brought on each time he would. That's why he stared ahead. He knew that by watching her pass by when she wasn't looking and he'd find himself intrigued and staring too long to deem it as just trying to figure her out, the peculiar need to observe her every feature and getting his gaze stuck to the back of her hair.

He regretted to admit– but just her hair had him enamored alone, admiring the darkness, the way it fell down her back in pretty ringlets opposed to all the haughty girls he knew with their neatly flattened hair but nothing out of the ordinary. But nevermind all of that... that's why he simmered. "Do you always promote your cellphone apps to people you don't know?" Maybe that's what she wanted, another follower on social media? He still couldn't puzzle that.

The reminder she'd call him that name finally had his gaze turning on her, still quiet, no answer on her burning question of his real name. Again, why did she want to know so much? Her curiosity was somehow cute, maybe but ferociously annoying because that meant she'd be calling him his name like they were even so much as acquaintances and they weren't. Not mutuals, nor friends. But he wasn't staring at her for that alone, she had just reminded him he had noticed her with a guy that bugged him more than it should and she was tossing around compliments for names for other guys? "Perhaps, that isn't the best either... I'm not sure your boyfriend would like that. What do you think?"

៸៸ ✢ ៸៸ ── GO BIG OR GO HOME: SONDER PUSHES FORWARD WITH THEIR BOY GROUP IN THE MIDDLE OF COMPANY INVESTIGATION.

It came as a surprise to many back in April this year when Augustus Kim, now appointed CEO of Sonder Records, put out his statement in regard to his uncle, Kwon Byungho, double-crossing the label before washing his hands completely of everyone involved ⏤ including his nephew.

With an internal investigation currently ongoing, many wondered what will be the fate of Sonder; bankruptcy being the most speculated of. The severity of the situation only seemed to get worse as staff began dropping in dozens; recognizable faces such as the in-house producer, HALO, announced her departure in a brief instagram post alongside stylists, instructors, etc. It was the reply to a comment by Demetrius Harmon, a notable choreographer within the industry, speaking about no longer being able to work with their upcoming boy group after talking things through with Augustus.

Insidious, revealed just early March of this year, were meant to be the first curated idol group under Sonder Records in an attempt to dip their feet into the idol side of the industry. The eight-member group were originally dubbed as a "collaborative" project between the two men until Byungho began claiming the boys solely as his own; discussions of the former CEO pampering the trainees hit forums just a day after the fiasco unveiled. Apparently, the boys were treated like royalty; their dorm was rather expensive on top of the "dream team" Byungho put together to help them train as well as spoiling them with gifts and lavish dinners out. Inside sources revealed that the expenses racked up on the pre-debut team were ridiculous, especially when you consider the lack some of the members had when it came to performing.

As time went by, many speculated on the future of Insidious. Assumptions of disbandment quickly made it's way onto social media with most comments saying the boys were doomed from the start anyway. Rumors of members leaving also circled around online but those came out to be dead ends or pure guesses that were ran with. Everything was up in the air until May 25th when Augustus came out with the decision to move forward with their debut. After looking at Insidious from a financial viewpoint, he reluctantly had no choice but to see things through; the option to disband seemed to be more damaging than rewarding once considering how much Byungho put into them.

Up until this point, the identities of the members remained unknown aside from mere speculations and a few silhouette teaser photos released upon the group's revealing. Yesterday, around 6:15 pm, Insidious were called into a meeting, resulting in the media capturing only a few faces as they entered and left the building.

Immediately the public went into a frenzy after these photos were taken. Conversations mainly surrounded Saige Kim; a seasoned survival show veteran who was close to debuting several times but always missed the mark. Another face that was talked about was Wen Yunxi who was recognized for earning bronze at the Olympics years prior in floor exercise and silver in parallel bars. Not much can be said about Kelan Park aside from him being a JYP trainee as seen from photos of him with Stray Kids members Bang Chan and Hwang Hyunjin pre-debut; the same goes for Baek Minhee who only had an instagram with little to no photos and a pinterest dedicated to farm animals to his name. With a lineup of its caliber so far, many believe that their decisions to sign with Sonder Records was more of a shot in the dark rather than a genuine business move. Some even joked about Byungho practically bribing the members to stay under the label with how well he took of them early on.

While things behind the scenes remain chaotic, Augustus has spoken out about him finalizing everything for Insidious so their debut can happen as planned. No real date has been given but due tit's believed that the boys will be on stage sometime in June.

allie's moving to @enchaentd! i've had this blog for three years <3 and it is the longest i've ever kept a single blog active for. at this point, i feel completely overwhelmed here, with drafts, likes, inbox count, post count, and followers despite clearing them out quite a few times across the years. i really hate dropping things, and i feel like i have done so much more progression here and character building with allie, that i hate to move myself over. my stuff is here >:/ and it's true that i could move things over, but part of the reason i'm moving is just the clutter of everything. i'd like to keep a sideblog of rbs of hcs, threads, or other posts that i want to keep a little easier than just searching up things here. i have no intention of deleting this blog, you will never ever catch me doing that. also, my tags have been broken for, i think, almost one year, so i'm excited to be able to get to use some that work. (also, the new url helps with a new vibe. i've never been completely in love with this one.) i am dropping a lot of threads and memes. it is very, very likely that i have dropped ours, (i kept about 10 threads, and memes that i had plans to respond to privately or involved making edits) and i'm truly am sorry for it. i always want to start new things, and i plan to post a permanent starter/plotting call on my new blog soon to be able to get those new things going. whether or not i dropped a thread has no reflection on how i feel about our dynamics or even our relationship as friends/muns, it was very ruthless marie kondo style decision making, so i did not feel overwhelmed and could write something. like i said, i want to start new things!!! it's also likely that i won't be following first, as per usual with new blogs, but please feel free to follow me there! if we're mutuals, i want to keep/start writing with you! 💖💖💖💖💕💕✨✨💕💕💖💖

i will need some time for myself and have a better headspace, which i cannot curate here.

The winter ball was about to begin and he was still conflicted on what to wear to it. It was a massive gathering for everyone who had money in Washington, D.C. to attend to profit a charity. So to say. But Coriolanus knew the meaning got lost along the way of it simply being just another event for members of congress and other politics to gather and try to up one each other. As long as he mingled like he was interested, it didn't matter though. Rushed along by his scolding father, forced to wear the shirt he didn't wish to wear from his booming voice as interruption that had made him jolt right in the middle of switching it out, he begrudgingly pulled back on the white long sleeve onto his broad shoulders. There was nothing wrong with it, it was elegant and fit perfectly right, minus the few wrinkles in the sleeves ; but that's precisely what made his mind obsess the most as he roughly tried smoothing out the minor wrinkles over and over. Grandma'am dressed to the nines came in reassuring he looked perfect and handsome ; pinning a rose to his vest– even she must've noticed the distress on his face even as batty as she is. Corio gathered his other belongings and then quickly left his room with his grandmother so his father wouldn't have to lose his temper. He was still to anxiously fidget with his shirt on their way out of their grand home and into a luxury vehicle. The sparkling all black Chevrolet Suburban that awaited outside. Scent of new leather filled his senses once he climbed in after his grandmother then roses. Scent of his mother. His head perked up, wondering where that smell was coming from then eyes dropped down on the red rose sticking from his vest once he was reminded. He didn't even realize the obsessive thoughts finally had faded once the memory of his mother's scent filled his mind and he had began finally focusing on the road passing by outside his window the rest of the way instead of his appearance.

Once they arrived and secret service eventually stops crowding in on them because they are allowed to, Corio does his rounds of handshaking and mingling, making sure to put his best efforts into it ; knowing his father wouldn't be far observing how he acted. Then he found himself entering the crowd of the ballroom. The ballroom was magnificent as it always was... other than the grand architecture of it, it was dazzling in winter themed decor. The lights were dim other than from the chandeliers, blue and white lights projecting giving the room a wintry glow. Pre-lit painted white trees sitting around. Chairs and tables adorned with white ribbon, candles and white and powder blue bouquets roses sitting in the centers and along the stage, lavish tablecloths, buckets of drinks, servers making rounds with appetizers. Glasses clinking.

The blue snowflakes glittering above the stage caught his eye as he took a seat not far from it, the voice next to him distracting him out of his thoughts as blues turned on his uninvited companion who just found a seat next to him. Livia Cardew, someone he hated. Naturally, without even having to think of the way she used to make fun of him for not having a mother. Without a doubt, she was cozying up to him to try and catch him as her dance partner when it would be time for it. The traditional ballroom dance held each year after the live act. As usual, Coriolanus wondered how he would get out of it. But especially this year, with Livia trying to work her way in and he feared he'd be stuck with her at last second. 'And who is the puny act? Hope she sings bigger than she looks.' she sneered at the brunette taking the stage, snorting to herself. The blond's gaze moved away from the other blonde and eagerly looked to whoever she was speaking about, his sight landing on the dark haired girl but unlike Livia he didn't really have a bad thought. Simply absorbing the way she really was smaller than most of the girls. Maybe that made it endearing, or should he change that thought? And she was young, probably their age. He's used to seeing older women in their 60s with their violins and boring voices take the live act, so of course he's taken by surprise and staring longer than he intended.

His mind was full of ambition ; usually occupied by his studies and he had a hard time feeling love for people outside of caring for his deceased mother and his living cousin. So he didn't really care to pay attention to females unlike his peers, even if his father would soon be pushing it. He especially wasn't looking for romance in fear of how horrible the attachment must feel once you were trapped. The lack of control it must make one feel. And then the reminder of his trust and abandonment issues always sent him quickly looking away from any potential relationships. The solitude he felt trapped behind his castle walls, was far more comfortable. So looking to the stage, enthralled by the songstress, it was the first time he had been even remotely interested in wanting to know more about another being. That's why his gaze didn't tear away and he even anticipated what her voice is going to sound like.
