three people said yes and i am nothing if not vulnerable to the commands of my mutuals, so this is a DND starter call!! aisling's dnd details are below the cut!
okay so she's a human sorcerer (lvl 3 atm in bg3!)
and i'm adapting her into this so like, her mother was a sorcerer who planned to curse the village and the nearest kingdoms, her father was a farmer who loved his wife and children so much that he wasn't able to actively stop her from doing any of this, and aisling met and fell in love with a human fisherman (eoin) who would later die at moira's hand while trying to save a school filled with civilians.
aisling manages to defeat and kill moira, earning her the title of "folk hero", but the grief of losing eoin pushes her to leave the village and embark on her own travels, stopping frequently in towns and villages and cities to help the locals, create potions and healing salves, and practice her magic.
i'm not saying that camping with her is a wonderful experience, but it is, bc she typically performs small tasks for locals in exchange for things like apples, or a little oil, or some bread, and she makes some outstanding food with these ingredients and tools!
she can't light a fire very well tho.
also she uses three knives and a staff as her melee and range weapons.
i don't know nearly enough abt dnd to add more details to this, but i will say that, at some point in the dnd journey, she establishes a protected town in the woodlands in which she shelters and protects a large number of outcasts who have been ostracised from their communities due to their uncontrolled magic, skills, or other situations beyond their control. it's big and beautiful and she calls it home, but also the actual name for it is "ballyanam".
