BREAKING INTO HER APARTMENT PROBABLY WASN'T THE SMARTEST IDEA - so he's not really surprised when Mathilde draws a gun on him , but there hadn't been anywhere else that he could go. A LARGE DARK BRUISE CIRCLES DIMITRI'S THROAT - his lip split and his nose caked in dry blood. He'd thrown his phone out of the car window , the minute he'd managed to get away ; contacting her would have put her at risk - even now , he wasn't sure whether or not he'd been followed.

"I owe you vodka." He mutters from where he sits , curled up in a chair, hand moving to brush hair from his forehead. "I would've called but....long story."

dimitri did actually stay with james for about three months and all they did was argue. after a mission goes particularly wrong for dimitri , dragging up a whole lot of his past and things he is definitely not proud of - he has to go underground , and james joins him on the path to discovery so they end up moving around together , sticking to safehouses that james owns.

dimitri left mi5 and joined mi6 shortly after the stuff with lucas went down or smth - haven't worked out the full picture yet but just assume in my main verse , he's six , not five c: i will obviously write in past verses where he's doing the whole spooks plot stuff too.
